When they stepped into the common room she saw that they were alone.
"What's been going on with you?" she asked.
"Nothing."
"Well Potter told me some things and you are so distant-"
"And you believed him? You believed Potter?" he said angrily.
"No, of course not, that's why I wanted to ask you about it."
"It's nothing you should know about." he said coldly. She was still looking at him.
"Well then why are you acting like this towards everybody? You don't talk to others, you are in your own world all the time.." He said nothing, he just looked away.
"Draco..I'm tired of losing my friends," she said. It hurt her that he was acting like this. "I already lost Jade...I-I can't lose you too." He looked at her. She tried to read his emotions but he was hiding them too well. On the other hand she was like an open book. Tear slipped down her cheek.
"Please don't do this to your friends." she said. He still looked like stone. Why does it take to break him?
"Fine," she said. She was on the verge of tears. "You don't want to talk to me, I get it." She ran upstairs. She was now even more broken than she was when she had a fight with Jade. She leaned against the wall and slided down to the floor. She was now crying. She was so sad. It hurt her so much that she lost both of her friends. Her once best friends. She knew she was losing Draco as he was being so distant but it still hurt her that he didn't even want to look at her or talk to her.
She wiped her tears off as she stepped outside the slytherin common room. She was walking down the corridor as she saw Potter come out of a room. He looked shocked.
"What happened to you," she said.
"Malfoy is..." he started. She ran inside. It was a bathroom and everything inside was broken. On the floor there was Draco laying, covered in blood and Snape was killing him. It hurt her so much to see him like this. She ran back outside and Potter was still standing there.
"HARRY POTTER WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!" she yelled furiously. Before she could do anything McGonogall came and stopped her.
"You," she said to Potter. "You will go with professor Snape. And you, miss Morton. I know you are angry but don't attack him and return to your house." She looked at Potter one last time and walked away angrily.
After some time of Sophia trying to calm down she went to the Great Hall to find Potter or his friends. She wanted to know what happened. She managed to find them and then asked them what happened.
"Well Harry said he found Malfoy in the Moaning Mrtyle's bathroom, crying. And he recieved a detention from Snape for the rest of the year." It was already May now so this detention won't be that long, Sophia thought.
"Draco was crying?" She said. She couldn't believe it. The Granger girl nodded.
"How? I talked to him right before this happened and he was like stone."
"Harry said he believes it's because his mission is failing." Weasley looked at the girl.
"Are you sure you want to tell her everything? She is his friend. She will tell him what we suspect."
"Doesn't matter Ron! Malfoy already knows now that he saw Harry in the bathroom." Sophia went back to the slytherin house and sat on a couch.
She was still in shock. When she was talking to him she was on the verge of tears which was clearly visible and he showed no emotion. A second later he was crying in the bathroom which was probably the same time she was crying in the girls' bedroom.
As she went upstairs she saw Jade there. Sophia couldn't do it anymore.
"I'm sorry," she said, her eyes still wet from crying.
"I'm sorry for everything but please can we be friends again? I hated it when I lost you. I lost my best friend, Jade. Please forgive me." She saw that Jade was now crying as well and then she intensly hugged Sophia.
