The slytherin girl

The yule ball

"Hey, Jade! Look at this shoes! Aren't they just gorgeous?" Sophia and Jade were in a store looking for an outfit for the ball.
"Yes! They are made for a true slytherin!" The shoes were black heels that had a snake on them.

" I don't want to dress completely in slytherin colors though.. So I might get just the normal silver heels without a snake." Sophia said and Jade nodded.
"Whatever you want. If you don't want them then I will get them." Sophia smiled and looked around the store to find the silver heels she saw a minute ago. They bought the shoes and went to the next store looking for a dress. They saw the store was full of girls from Hogwarts.
"This is going to be a war over some dresses I can already tell," Jade said and they laughed.
"So do you know what kind of dress do you want?" Jade asked.
"I'm leaning towards something black and gold. But only a little bit of gold. And preferably a long dress."
"Nice. Well I wanted to wear a silver one."
After a half an hour of looking they finnaly found the dresses for the ball. After that they returned to Hogwarts.
"You know what's funny? We bought everything but we don't have a date yet." Jade said as they were sitting in the common room by the fireplace.
"Well it's not like nobody asked me, this one kid did but he is like a hufflepuff so I don't think it would be a good idea." Sophia said. "But seriously though we should ask someone really soon." Jade smirked.
"And you would think that guys will be the ones to ask." Sophia laughed.
"Hey guys," they heard. It was Blaise and Theo. They sat down on the couch next to them.
"So I was just wondering, Jade, if you would like to go to the ball with Blaise," Theo said and smirked. Sophia saw how red Blaise got and it was hard for her not to laugh.
"Yeah, sure." Jade said. "I'm just glad I got a date finnaly." After that Theo turned to Sophia.
"And by the way do you wanna go with me? I heard you don't have a date yet." She nodded and smiled. Going with Theo is not that bad.
"So it's settled then." He said and then they left.
"Hey do you think that Draco asked Pansy?" Jade asked.
"Probably. I mean who else do you think he'd go with?" Jade didn't have an anwser.
The next day at lunch Sophia was everything but happy.
"What's wrong? Is it because you failed to do that potion correctly?" Jade asked her. Sophia sighed.
"I know it sounds crazy but I have to get a good grade in potions this year and this potion is important. It could make a difference between being bad or being excellent. And I need to be excellent. Otherwise my parents..." She bite her lips and looked down.
"I get it." she heard. It was Draco. It's been a while since they spoke.
"I mean it's not the same for me but they still expect some things of me, especially my father. So I get it. The fear I mean." Sophia nodded.
"So Draco you are going with Pansy right?" Jade asked.
"

To the yule ball? Yeah." he said and smirked. "And by the way have you two thought about christmas? Like will you go home again or stay here?"
"I wanna stay here," Sophia said. "For a change. I think it will be fun." Draco shaked his head in disbelief.
"Not if you will be here alone. Not if the only people to hang out with will be some stupid hufflepuffs or something." They laughed.
"Well I was planning on maybe staying here too. It would probably feel good not to be with parents once although i love them." Jade said. Sophia smiled.
"Awesome! We will have the whole common room to ourselves."
"We gotta go guys. Herbology starts in ten minutes," Theo said who sat near Draco. They all stood up and went to the Herbology.
After the classes they had some time to get dressed and everything. All the girls in slytherin were talking and complementing each other in the girls' bedroom.
"Jade can you fix my hair please?" Sophia said without looking away from the mirror. Jade used her wand and fixed it.
"Thankyousomuch," Sophia said and Jade laughed. Sophia looked at herself for one last time. Black and gold dress and black heels because she later figured out that silver wouldn't match her outfit. She also had a long and simple necklace.
"Ready, Jade! Let's go before all the girls push me in the mirror." Sophia said and they went into the common room where Blaise and Theo waited for them.
"Look good ladies," Theo said. They laughed and went to the ball. They watched as the tournament competitors started the dance.
"Well, shall we start to dance?" Jade said and they agreed. They danced elegantly and after a while Theo went somewhere and Blaise followed him. So Jade and Sophia sat down to rest.
"Ugh my heels are killing me," Jade said.
"Well I would say that it's the same for me but I can't complain because I chose these shoes." Sophia said and laughed. They looked at the others. She couldn't see where Draco was or anybody else she knew.
"Hey girls," she heard and it was Fred and George. She instantly smiled.
"Hey you two. Are you enjoying your evening?" she asked.
"Yes but it would be even better if they would allow us to pull some pranks on students from other schools. But they said we shouldn't ruin their night." Fred said. "I'm offended, you know? Our pranks don't ruin nights, they just...spice them up." George continued. Jade laughed.
"So why are you just sitting here?" they asked.
"Our dates went somewhere..not sure where they are. They probably went looking for Draco." Sophia explained.
"Well then it wouldn't be that horrible if you would join us for one dance? Besides the fact that you are slytherin," they said. Sophia looked at Jade. She was suprised as well considering that the twins were two years older. But then she smiled.
"I think it would be great to join you for one dance. Who cares about the houses." she said. The boys smiled. Fred took Jade's hand and George went with Sophia. The whole thing was actually fun because they didn't care about how they looked, they didn't even dance seriously. Sophia saw that their brother, who was sitting with Potter, glared at them in disbelief.
Exactly when they stopped dancing Sophia noticed that Blaise returned with Draco. They immidiately ran to the girls.
"What were you two thinking? Dancing with gryffindors? With weasleys? " Blaise said.
"They asked us and it was actually fun. Besides it's not important if they are from gryffindor. And where were you two? I didn't see you anywhere." Sophia said.
"We were dancing as well, I mean I was with Pansy and then they came and Theo wanted a few dances with Pansy. So I returned to you two with Blaise." Draco explained. She nodded.
"Well since we are here already would you mind one dance? We don't have anything better to do here anyway," Draco said casually. Sophia agreed and they went on the dancefloor again. It was pretty good and after that she decided it was time to return. On her way out she saw a girl sitting on the stairs, crying. She felt sorry for whatever happened and stopped.
"What happened," she asked softly and sat down.
"It just..everything was so nice, I was dancing with Krum and my...friend ruined the night." Sophia now remembered who was dancing with Viktor Krum. It was one of Potter's friends, a gryffindor.
"I'm sorry," she said. "And I know I don't know you but I had to stop because it was horrible seeing you cry. And if your friend is that annoying maybe he isn't a good friend." The girl siffled.
"Thanks," she quietly said. "Thanks for being here."
"No problem. Girls help each other." she said and then left. She stepped in her common room that was empty and went up the stairs to the bedroom. She changed her clothes and went to bed. After a few minutes she saw Jade enter.
"Are you sleeping?" she whispered. Sophia said no.
"Good," Jade said and sat on her bed. "You see there's something that happened. You know when Theo went to dance with Pansy? Well when they were still dancing Blaise approached them and took Pansy. And he kissed her too." Sophia was now fully awake.
"He did what?" Jade nodded and Sophia sighed.
"Why do I have a feeling that Theo didn't like this?"
"He didn't. He stormed off in the boys' bedroom without even looking at Blaise or Pansy."
