I am going in and out of consciousness. I was out the whole day yesterday but today I decided I need to get a lot of the story out so that I can rest in peace unafraid that I'll forget later on or even eventually die from the poison in me. Let's forget about that for now. Where did I leave off? Oh, right, Scott is on the floor from a backhand from Seline, most of the newborns are trying to recover, the ones far enough away didn't get the full effect so they are recovered and moving at frightening speeds, and here I am in the middle of the chaos trying to figure out if I am gonna have to kill all the newborns on my own. If even a third of the dead came back as newborns then I am in trouble.
I grab and snap the neck of a nearby newborn leaving him dead on the floor. As he hits I blow the whistle as hard as I could possible muster and everyone goes down again. Scott and I were not effected because of the earbuds we had put on, Adrian also had a pair. While the newborns are down I go from person to person damaging each head to the point of death, I begin to become hopeful because Scott is practically manhandling Seline and I am almost halfway through the amount of newborns only having to blow the whistle after about 10 people I kill. I get through 64 people and I realize I hadn't blown the whistle in a while when Ethan is in my face with rage in his eyes. He knocks me backwards effectively making me lose my grip on the whistle and losing it among the blood and gore.
While I am on the ground he kneels on my left arm and steps on my other arm. Systematically he starts to beat my face, I distinctly hear my nose break and blood sting my eyes. In the distance I hear Scott starting to struggle against Seline as now they are equally matched. I cannot worry about him though because now I have to face why Ethan stopped punching long enough to let me listen in the first place. He looks at me, then smiles. He then did something that frightened me more then anything he has ever done. He stood up, and stepped back.
I looked up into the eyes of the newborns and saw that they wanted to wait for their master to finish preparing the meal he had served to them on a silver and bloody platter. I have never felt pain such as this. The teeth of countless newborns pierce my veins and start to replace their venom with my blood. I scream and tried to fight back but I saw something interesting. It looks as though my blood is poisonous to their kind because the first to have bitten me now lie dead with foam in their mouths. This is why Francis didn't try to eat me, or why Ethan and Seline didn't try it earlier, they knew what would happen. But these newborns are just that, they are like babies with a medicine bottle, they eat it because they want to but don't know the dangers of it.
Ethan laughs at the site before him but the laughter doesn't last as he is catapulted over heard to land in the midst of the newborns. Adrian had come back and worry filled his eyes as he saw me. With as much strength as I could muster, I stood up and killed the nearest newborn. I look towards Scott and see he is struggling against Seline but that battle is far from finished, I hope me and Adrian can clean up this mess quickly enough to help him. With Adrian's help, the newborns were dwindled to about 10 people. Ethan saw this and immediately attacked Adrian who was doing most of the work since I was so damaged.
I allowed it because I then could handle the 10 people only and Adrian is much safer dealing with just Ethan rather than Ethan AND the 10 newborns. So while he went defensive and even morphed into his wolf for it I attacked the newborns. I was able to kill 3 of them before the other seven decided to attack at once. I morphed into my wolf for the first time in this long and agonizing battle to keep them at bay.
My hand shakes and my head is spinning. I can't write anymore today. I hope I don't die till I say the outcome. Mason out.
