"I don't know if I should be proud of you or mad at you after what you did right there," Tyler buckled up his seat belt before he fired up the ignition. "You cut off all the wires in your sight and honestly, that was both awesome and dangerous, you bitch! What are you thinking?"
I smirked. "That'll teach him a lesson."
"You're a bad-ass lion that everyone should be aware of," he shook his head as he pulled out the car and hit the road. "Man, I'm glad that I'm your friend."
"You should be," I stretched my body as I yawned. It was already 03:34am, though. My bedtime had already passed by like two hours ago but it was really worthy to stay up all night messing around with that jerk's house. I drew up a lever to recline the back of my seat, bringing my legs up and pillowed my head with my hands as I faced him. "Where are we heading?"
"Your house?" Tyler glanced at me.
"No!" I pulled myself up instantly. "That'll be the end of my life."
"Hey, I can help you talk things out with your dad," he suggested. "You know, explain what really happens."
"If I've already failed to explain everything to him then so will you," I was completely certain about that. "Plus, he's got your name in his you-better-watch-out list. He'll choke you up right that instant just before you could utter a word."
He gulped. "Stop making him sound so eerie."
"I'm not exaggerating. That's totally going to happen if you confront him," I put my legs up on the dashboard and just laid back. "Just let me sleep over at your house."
"Okay," he nodded. "But then in the morning, we have to go back to your house and explain everything."
"Tyler, I just told you—"
"I don't care. We have to clear this out and you just can't sleep in my room for the whole two weeks. At the end of the day, you still have to go back home."
Well, I couldn't say he was wrong about this. Eventually, I had to get back to my confinement and just had a war with boredom all throughout my suspension weeks since my possessions were deprived.
"Fine. Whatever," I sighed, putting my legs down and turned myself away from him.
"Len, don't tell me you're going to sleep."
I faked a snore.
"Lennox!" He whined, shaking my body with his one hand on the steering wheel. "Don't leave me alone."
"I'm tired," I groaned.
"Well, I'm tired too. Come on, Lennox. Keep me company!"
"Drive safe, Tyler."
"Lennox!"

The bothersome beeps of a digital clock woke me up and I slammed my hand on the nightstand beside me, trying to find that stupid thing and make it stopped bleeping. Then it suddenly went silent which was so weird because I hadn't touched anything just yet. Well, it didn't matter. Now, I could return to being in a state of torpidity....
But then, someone came crushing the tranquility.
"If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!" An ear-piercing voice interrupted my sleep.
