Another beautiful day in Magnolia. The sun is shining bright with the clear skies. Nice crisp air flowing around and the subtle scent of the waters from the rivers located all throughout the town.

Lucy was enjoying every bit of what nature has to offer as she headed to the guild. As usual, she balanced on the stone walls that kept the river in place along with her celestial spirit, Plue.

The environment was not the only reason for her cheerful behavior. Fairy Tail has recently won the Grand Magic Games. Not only has the guild's reputation been restored, but seeing everyone happy once again was enough to bring a smile to her face. Winning the games also meant that there were many jobs on the bulletin board. In fact, there were so many that the majority of guild members were out on the field. Yes, the town has settled down quite a bit because of that, but it was nice to have a peaceful day.

When Lucy was coming close to the guild, she hopped off of the walls, not looking at the figure approaching her landing zone. They crashed, and both sides have fell to the ground. Everyone grunted in pain. Then Lucy heard two voices that were clearly familiar to her.

"Hey watch where you're going!"

"Carla, don't be rude. It's our fault for being careless."

Lucy quickly got up, but the two didn't seem to notice her presence. She slightly bent down and offered her hand to Wendy. That was when the little girl noticed her.

"Lucy-san!" Wendy exclaimed with such bright enthusiasm. She gladly accepted the blonde's offer and pulled herself up.

Wendy looked so happy to see Lucy. Probably has been a while since she last saw the dragon slayer and her exceed, Lucy thought. Wendy and Carla were also allowed to go on missions without a supervisor now, since everyone knows just how capable she is.

"Wendy, the packages!" Carla called out to her as she tried to gather them altogether.

Wendy gasped with horror and quickly ran around to pick up every single box that she dropped. Lucy saw how frantic the blue haired girl was and offered to help her.

After collecting everything, both of them started heading toward the place which the packages needed to go, which was basically the guild.

"Geez Wendy, no wonder why you didn't see me when I hopped down from the curb. With all of these boxes stacked up, you wouldn't be able to see."

"Sorry Lucy-san," Wendy said with regret.

Lucy shook her head. "You have nothing to apologize for. Just try to be careful when carry that many things." She paused for a moment after saying that. "But then again, you should've asked for help in the first place."

"But almost every guild member is on a mission at the moment," Wendy pointed out as she shift the way she was carrying the boxes. "Other than us three, the only people who are still in Magnolia are Master and Mira-san."

"The guild is finally quiet for once," said Carla with a sigh of relief.

Lucy and Wendy laughed at her comment. It is for a fact that Fairy Tail is known for its rowdy bunch, but it's what makes every single day an adventure of a lifetime.

The girls soon arrived at the guild, to see that it was truly quiet. Although it was nice to have piece and quiet, it just felt empty without everyone.

"Ah, Wendy, Carla, and Lucy as well! Good morning!"

They looked over at the bar, where Mira was greeting them with a bright smile. Lucy and the others greeted the girl and headed on over. They rounded the counter and dropped of the packages. Mira expressed her gratitude for the hard work they have done with some sweets.

The girls and exceed said their thanks and helped themselves. They offered some to Mira as well since she was the one who baked them, but she would not take them; saying that she baked those for them. Then they all started talking about how their morning was as well as some other things just to past up time.

And then, the noise was back.

"We're home!" Natsu and Happy exclaimed as they burst through the double doors of the guild.

"Welcome back!" Mira happily greeted the loud duo. She slightly cocked her head to look beyond the entrance. "Ah," Mira started to say as she noticed the person behind Natsu and Happy. "Welcome back Romeo!"

"It's good to be back," Romeo commented with a smile as he headed toward the bar, where everyone else resided.

Wendy smiled at Romeo and congratulated him for another job well done. The boy was beyond shock, which may sound overdramatic to most people, but not to him.

He never actually talked to Wendy before. He would hear many rumors about her, but they were mostly about being the sky dragon slayer. And that is a title that Wendy has lived up to time and time again. Graceful, yet fierce on the battlefield. Romeo came to love that side of her.

But he also envied the girl. She gets to work alongside Natsu, the person Romeo always strived to be. And yet, that is not the reason for avoiding the sky dragon slayer.

To be honest, Romeo felt shy around Wendy. It's weird though, because he's pretty outgoing and never afraid to take risks. The boy looks up to Natsu, probably the boldest risk taker anyone has ever seen for crying out loud. And he tends to get along with many of the guild members despite the age gap. But the girl, who is pretty much around the same age as him, is the one person he just cannot bring himself to talk to. So, talking to her for the first time was kind of nerve-racking.

"Th-Thanks..." Romeo murmured as his eyes drifted off to the ground.

His voice was so quiet that a fly would be the only one to hear it. The thought of his mistake was dreadful, but it didn't really seem as bad when he heard her chuckle. Romeo looked up, only to see her smile. His eyes widened at the sudden sight and quickly turned around, much to the girl's confusion. The boy could tell that his cheeks were red and warm, which was weird. Did he catch a cold during the mission? The weather was fair though, so maybe not a fever.

'So why?' Romeo thought to himself as he took a quick glance at the blue-haired girl. She was still looking at him with confusion and concern written all over her face. Flustered, Romeo quickly looked away.

He internally sighed.
