"This time, don't need another perfect lie

Don't care if critics ever jump in line

I'm gonna give all my secrets away"

After getting out of the headmaster's office, Marilyn walked to Madison's flat. It took her several minutes to compose herself from the fright she got from Henry's threatening. If you didn't follow the headmaster's orders, your punishment could go from long suspensions to near death experiences; Marilyn saw one punishment accidentally, and since that night she promised to be a goody two shoes, even if it meant being laughed at for being a massive prude.

Finally Marilyn knocked on the door and was greeted by a sleepy Madison.

-" What do you want?" Madison asked groggily.

-" I promised you to come by after the reunion, remember?" Marilyn replied.

-" Oh yeah, come in." Madison waved in.

The word to describe the flat was: dirty. You could see the dust in the air, scattered food boxes and dirty clothes on the floor, and the bed was wrinkled.

-" Haven't you heard the term 'cleaning'?" Marilyn asked wrinkling a little her nose.

-" Cleaning is a term from my old life." Madison said shrugging.

-" Your old life?" Marilyn asked confused.

-" Don't ask about it."

-" But aren't best friends supposed to know everything about each other?"

-" You're not my best friend." Madison spat. That hurt Marilyn a little, but she just hid it inside.

-" Ok, let me rephrase it then: Aren't people that are trying to get along know everything from each other?"

-" I guess, but I don't like talking about my life."

-"Then let's start with the basics. What's your full name?" Marilyn said.

Madison hesitated a little before answering " Madison Elizabeth Winters. And yours?"

-" My life isn't that interesting." Marilyn tried to skip the question. She just wanted to know her new friend and also get some information for her duty.

-" Neither is mine, but you're making me spill my life; It's only fair." Madison said with a grin.

-" Fine, my full name is Marilyn Cassandra Rimes. Where you were born?"

-"New York but was raised in New Jersey, and you?"

-"Vancouver"

-"You're Canadian? You don't have much of a accent."

-" I moved to the United States when I was ten, and I was surrounded by American kids a lot of the time so I lost a lot of it. Favorite color?" Marilyn said.

-" Red."Madison quickly replied.

-" Blue." Marilyn replied quickly too.

-" What's your favorite food?" Madison asked.

-" Spanish food, specially Paella." Madison answered proudly.

-" That dish is good, but not as good as Chinese fried rice."

-" I hate Chinese; Paella will win a food competition." Madison argued.

-" I don't think so." Marilyn argued back.

-" Wanna make a bet someday?" Madison dared.

-"Absolutely." And both girls had a fit of laughter.
