"Want a drink?" Natalie asked me as we walked in. There were people covering every inch of the house, it was quite ridiculous. It smells of pure alcohol and it makes me want to retch.
"I'll pass," I say without hesitation. Did she mean a beer? There no way... She doesn't drink. Neither do I.
Sure enough, Liam pulls out a beer for her and of course himself. "You sure?" He asks, cracking his open. He takes a big swig as I shake my head. I glance around and there are seriously girls half naked. Literally, there's nothing left to the imagination.
When I turn back around, Liam and Natalie are not in my sight. Shoot. I immediately start walking, hoping to run into them. Im not ready for a party like this, it's all just too much. This was only my first day at college and I was so blindsided that Natalie partied like this.
If I were engaged at 19, where would I be? Hmm. I walked towards what seems to be a living room, and I scanned the crowd. I surely don't know anyone, I grew up in New York. Then again, so did Natalie and Liam. They came here here, to Boston together and they made their own friends.
I can do the same.
I was still searching the same room when someone touched me on the shoulder. I jumped and turned around, slightly disappointed to see Harry standing there.
"Why aren't you having a drink?" He asked, somehow in a rude tone. So far, everything he has said to me comes out in a negative way.
"I don't drink," I replied and glanced at his hands, which were empty. The only thing about his hands that caught my eye was the flashy rings he had all over his fingers.
"Of course you don't," he said through a breath, he was clearly amused. "You're dressed like you're on the way to make your 8th grade graduation," he insulted and I frowned.
"I'm proud to be wearing at least something to cover my body, unlike some people here," I spat, suddenly realizing that was the worst comeback I could have ever said.
Harry laughed. Not just a laugh though, it came out cruel. "Yeah, okay," he said roughly and I narrowed my eyes.
"Seriously?"
He laughed again. I rolled my eyes and reflected what he said about me not drinking. He began to lose interest in me and walk away, but I spoke. "And as for me drinking, don't be such a hypocrite," I added and his eyes went dark.
"You don't want to see me drink," he mumbled and I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever," I said and before he could speak another word, I was drowning into the crowd.
Honestly I forgot about looking for Liam and Natalie, but I eventually ran into Liam. He was chatting with 2 other boys, a blonde one, (whom was adorable) and then another who had dark hair, and some nice facial hair (who was extremely sexy).
"Kate," Liam slurred and pulled me over. "This is Niall and Zayn," he said and started cracking up. "These guys are my good friends!" He shrieked and I laughed at his behavior.
"Haven't seen you around here before," Niall said with a huge grin. His smile was literally perfect.
"Ah no," I said with a small smile, pulling Liam's arm off from my shoulder. "I'm a freshman this year," I informed them and Zayn nodded.
"I think you'll like it here," he said through a grin. "Were not too bad," he said just as Harry stomped into the lesser crowded room where I was standing.
"I see you've met the prudest girl around!" He yelled towards the boys and Niall gave him a confused stare.
"What?" Zayn asked.
