My phone rang and it was Natalie, I decided to pick up after it rang a few times.
"Hello?"
"Hey Katie, how's everything going?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.
"Fine."
"Good, are you doing anything tonight?" Why was Natalie so damn nosy? Like she had to know everything.
"Actually, I'm going to a party," I told her and she laughed.
"Who's?"
"Harry invited me to go," I said and it was true. On our walk yesterday, he had asked me if I was going and of course I told him I was going.
"Harry? I thought you guys couldn't stand each other," Natalie said and she almost sounded scared.
"Oh no," I answered and I almost felt weird myself. "Harry and I get along, we actually spent sometime together yesterday."
Natalie was quick to answer. Way too quick. "No, Katie, no. Harry Styles is not your type. He doesn't date! He never will, and he's not nice to you."
"He doesn't date?" I asked, ignoring the other things she said.
"No!" Natalie exclaimed. Before she could add anything else, I hung up.
For tonight I decided to wear my skinny jeans and then my new striped sweater that I had gotten not too long ago. Harry said that we may be outside some, so I wanted to wear jeans instead of a dress. I didn't even like dresses that much anyways, it was just to look nice.
I left the house at 7 and found the frat house on my first try, and tonight I was prepared for anything.
I walked inside and the first person I saw was Harry. He was leaning against a wall, one leg kicked against it, drink in his hand, talking to a guy. He was wearing his black shit as always, and then a red and blue flannel. His hair looked so amazing and his black skinny jeans and boots made his legs look perfect.
I stopped my fan-girling when Harry looked my way. I gave him a small smile and he walked staring towards me, hardly grinning.
"This party sucks,"he whispered Ito my ear and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh?"
Harry smiled at me, this time it was a real smile. I could see that he actually had dimples, it was adorable.
"I know another place we could go," he suggested and I smiled.
"I'm up for anything,"i told him and I really was. As long as I was with Harry.
I dropped my car off and Harry drove us to a different party. This one was at a frat house just as big, with even more cars. Harry carefully pulled into a parking space, and we got out of the car.
I walked slightly behind him as we paced ourselves to the front door. He was silent in the car, only heavy metal music filled the silence between Harry and I.
"Hey!" A bigger man yelled to Harry, he was tall and muscular, his hair heavily greased. Not to mention he was visibly drunk.
Harry nodded and stopped for a moment for me to catch up. He grabbed me around the waist for a split second and pulled me close to him.
"Stay away from people like that tonight," he warned me, whispering into my ear. I nodded, and he let me go. Suddenly acting as if that never happened.
Harry wandered off during the party, but somehow I wasn't surprised. Natalie doesn't lie, and she did warn me that he doesn't date. Harry clearly left me so people didn't assume that we were together, it was rational. Or was I making excuses for him?
I took a seat on an empty chair, and I smiled when I saw Luke walking over to me. He was so gorgeous.
"Hey Katie," he said and I smiled even wider when he called by by my nickname. I mean, Kate is also my nickname, as well as Katherine being my middle name, but I still felt good.
"Hey," I smiled and he held out a drink, he must have seen me walk in.
"You gotta try it at some point," he said and I grinned. I took the red cup and looked inside, curious of the clear liquid.
Harry was right I didn't think much, because a second later I was chugging the liquid.
Luke's smile was ecstatic.
"Can I get you more?" He asked and all I could do was smile and nod. The drink made the insides of my mouth feel heavy and hot. It burned my throat as it went all the way down to my stomach, but for some reason I couldn't say no to Luke.
Minutes later, Luke had another plastic cup, this one filled almost to the rim. if I'm drinking this much, it would make more sense just to drink from the dm bottle. What was this stuff anyways?
"Drink up," he smiled and I took the glass, loving the familiar taste all of a sudden. It reminded me of pop of some sort, I liked it. I drank the whole glass, and then another boy next to me handed me a little glass with a brown liquid up to the rim. Shots.
I grinned and tilted my head back, the little cup following it, and I felt my heart racing, it was like I was getting a natural high from being "cool" like the other people at the party.
"Good job Kate!" Luke cheered, and I stood, realizing I was drunk, and I couldn't stand. I wobbled down into my chair, but before my bum hit, like pulled me into him by the arm.
"Shit dude she's done," the other boy said who had given me the shot.
"That's because I drugged it," he said and the guy laughed, clearly impressed.
"Get it," he said and it was the first thing I heard before Luke began dragging me through the crowds of people.
This was about to go very bad.
