I headed to the library that evening with my laptop. I was getting sick and tired of hearing all of their marriage talk, and I needed to get away from Natalie before I strangled her.
I set down my bag on the chair next to me and I flipped on my computer, taking off my jacket as it loaded. I opened my philosophy book and began scanning chapter 37, although I already did that reading earlier in class. Once my laptop loaded, I was fully concentrated and I began my essay. Nothing could possibly break my concentration.
About 2 hours into my work, I heard my phone buzzing, it was from an unknown number, but I opened the text anyways.
*Hey, it's Luke. I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me and some friends tonight.*
I grinned, seeing as it was only 7:00.
*Pick me up in 20?*
I packed up my laptop and began walking back to the dorms.
*See you then :)*
I smiled the whole way back, despite me thinking back about my dream.
I threw on my favorite long sleeved shirt with dark gray and black stripes. I wore my jacked with the large buttons, and I slipped into my moccasins. Luke was knocking on my door the second I was done.
"Ready?" He asked, smiling.
"Always," I replied, grinning.
I pray that tonight will be fun and go well.
