GLASS BEACH
The human heart is fragile
Easily broken by trivial stuff
Shards scattered amongst gravel
The edges worn and rough
I'll pick them up, one by one
Place them in my satchel
Once I'm finally done
To glass beach I shall travel
I'll place each piece down
Along the glittering coast
Shining like jewels in a crown
What every poor man desires most
Come, those who are poor in spirit
Collect your treasure
You will be rewarded, as you merit
Your heart will be put back together
