BITTER
Hold your breath
For as long as you are able
Because you never know when you may sink
Taking the fall when your rock becomes unstable
You'll find yourself sinking to an unknown depth
Regret and fear will fill your lungs like a poisonous drink
Hopes and dreams will turn to nothing but sea foam
As the last rays of light glitters in the spray
You can only look on, knowing you'll never again rejoin the surface
Unable to resurface; your spirit will forever roam
There's nothing in the world that can save you nor any price you can pay
Sinking in an ocean of defeat, realizing, "Nothing is more bitter than this"
