PERSONALITY: Taerim is a really shy girl that doesn't know how to approach people which makes her sad a lot since she would love to have lots of friends. She's always scared of being judged by everyone she meets or that they may find her annoying. However, if you're the first one to approach her and you succeed in breaking down her walls you will meet a complete different person. With her friends Taerim is really talkative, she loves to crack jokes whenever she has the chance too even if they're almost always bad puns. She lets them see her clumsy and dorky side and loves to laugh with them. She lacks lot of confidence but when she's practicing she suddenly seems like the most confident of people and that leaves almost everyone shocked.
BACKGROUND: Taerim was born in Incheon from a really big family where she was the youngest so she has always been babied around. Her parents were almost always busy because of work so she was often left to the cares of her older siblings. She started taking dance lessons since she was really little and eventually became completely in love with it, stating that it was the career she wanted to purse in the future. Around the age of twelve she started dreaming of becoming an idol and attended singing classes with her brother in order to improve and make her dream become true. She auditioned at Wild Ent when she was fifteen and was accepted with no problems.
