BACKGROUND: Taehyeon was born in South Korea and moved to the U.S. only as young as seven months. His early childhood was only with his Mother and Older brother, Taebin. He never met his father as he later passed away when Tae was only four months old. His mother remarried to, his now step-father, Kim Jungsoo. They moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles when he was 4 years old. He grew up in a very loud and lively household containing his two older brothers, Junghyuk and Taebin. The three got along really well and did everything together. When he was about 15 he started singing and dancing, mainly from intrest from his brothers, as they were also into dancing. Junghyuk was the one that taught Taehyeon how to dance. Later Taebin and Taehyeon moved to South Korea were they are now roommates and got two puppies. They still go back to L.A. to visit their family on holidays or when on vacation.
