Evan POV:

I had known Avril for about a year and a half now. She was writing her 1st album and seemed really stuck. I helped her write a few songs. We were super close, best friends really.
"God, I need 3 more songs and I'm done. I've got no inspiration. Nothing." She said.
"Hey, you're brilliant and super talented. C'mon you'll write a really good song and everyone is going to love it." I reassured her.
"Thanks, Evan."

Avril POV:

I was so upset. Crying. I felt like I was dead. I wanted to die so much. It really, really sucks right now. The pain burning inside is pure torture. I was so confused. I didn't want anyone to see me like this at all. I felt so fake. So not myself.

I heard a knock at the door and wiped my eyes clean.
"Come in." I said manipulating my voice.
Evan came on and I put on a big fake smile.
"Hey Avril, I was wondering how the writing was going." He said.
"Great, I, uh, have another song idea." I said nonchalantly.
"What's wrong?" He said. The words took me by surprise. How-huh?
"Nothing, I'm perfect." I said
"No. Something is definitely wrong. This isn't you. I don't know why or how but you aren't being yourself right now." He said.
"I'm fine." I said.
"You see, all girls say that and they never mean it."
I just start sobbing. The tears are making me choke and I am so scared right now. I don't want him to see the real me. I don't know why, though.
"Oh, come here." He says. He holds me while I keep crying.
"Whatever's wrong- and you don't have to tell me what- remember you are so smart and so talented. You are so pretty, and no one has the power to bring you down." He said with care in his voice. He made me smile every day and this time he made me smile the biggest.
"Thank you, Evan." I said.
When he left I kept my smile.
I felt new inspiration for a song. Evan was special to me, and I wanted him to know that and be clueless at the same time. I started writing, and I kept adding and removing, shifting and revising until the song was done. Now all I needed was a title.
I read the lyrics a couple times before I realized 'Naked' would be perfect.
The song and the reason behind it was just another reason why I loved Evan so much.
