Sanyukta's pov
When I entered everyone was so surprised to see me because it was the first time I wore a saree. Today when I went home to get ready I just opened my cupboard and looked for a dress to wear for this special day but I did not find anything suitable , it was not like I didn't have dresses I had lots of them which were very pretty but this was our company's 30th anniversary and I wanted to wear something which was appropriate for this occasion as I was the vice President of the company I couldn't wear any dress and go then I saw all the sarees hanging at the end of my cupboard . My mom bought a saree every year for me and Vanya for festivals after we grew up but we never wore them.I just looked through all those sarees and realised how beautiful they were and decided that this what I will wear. I wore a dark blue saree which was simple but elegant .
When I entered the party I looked for my baba and then I saw him so I just went to my baba and Anirudh uncle who along with Randhir were talking to some clients . I went and greeted them then I said hi to randhir he just kept on looking at me for a few seconds but then he also said hi and left from there in a hurry I don't know why.
Then I went to my mother and saw a few tears in her eyes she just looked at me and then kissed my forehead and said " I didn't realise till today that you had grown up and you are no more my little girl"I just smiled and said " Ma I am Still your little girl it's just that I thought today I should wear something in which I should look like the vice President of this company."
And I wiped her tears . Then I went to vidhushi and said " wow you look very pretty . Parth must not be able to take his eyes of you". I just saw her sad expression when I said this and understood that Parth had ignored her today also like all the other days and this made me so mad I mean who does he think he is to ignore vidhushi. I was just going to go and say something to him but Vidhushi held my hand and stopped me and said " leave it sanyukta now let's talk about you I mean what the hell happened to you , you are wearing a saree " before I could reply to her question Anirudh uncle came in the centre of the hall and said " me and Arjun have two important announcements to make tonight ".
