Accidental marriage

Chapter 43

Sanyukta's pov

After the mehendi today a cocktail party was there and Randhir was still in the office and I was so mad at him i mean it's his sister's marriage and he doing nothing and I am here working day and night to do all the preparations.

I was thinking all this and almost didn't see the stairs in front of me and was  about to fall when somebody caught me. I just closed my eyes very tightly and as soon as I opened them I saw Randhir standing there, looking at me with an expression that I just couldn't understand.

I stood up on feet carefully and then Randhir in a very angry tone asked me  "Sanyukta how can you be so careless atleast look where you are going, I mean anything could have happened if I hadn't come on time".

After this  he called a worker and told him to take everything from my hand and he took me to my room and made me sit on the bed and said "enough now you are not going to do anymore work ok". He went to get a glass of water for me from side table while I said quickly " Randhir I am fine and if I don't do it then who will do it"

He said in an angry tone " there are a lot of people in this home who can do it ok it doesn't have to be you ok."

I tried to convince him "Randhir please I will be fine". I was about to get our of the room when I slipped twisting my ankle and fell on the ground.

In a second Randhir was by side and he asked "Are you alright?". I just yelled in pain "Do I look alright to you". He  sighed and said "You really make it difficult to care for you".

I  yelled again "Really is that what you think then fine go I can take care of myself", with that I tried to get up but fell again. I was in a lot of pain while Randhir shaked his head and then he picked me up from the ground in bridal style and I just yelled "What the hell I don't want your help". 

To which he replied "Enough I am sorry for what I said before, fine now" after which  I just became quiet. He made me lay on the bed and got the first aid box to put the the pain relief spray on my ankle.

He then said "You are not leaving this room is that clear".  I was about to argue with him but he beat me to it "I will handle the preparations but you are gonna rest and I don't want to see you leave this bed have I made my self clear. I am warning you Sanyukta if I see you working I will actually tie you to this bed the next time"

I asked him in a worried tone "But Randhir how will you do all the preparations alone and the cocktail party is tonight. How will everything be ready on time". He patted my head and said "No more worrying about what's happening outside ok there is still a lot of time for the party and you are going to relax till then ok. For me you are my number one  priority so I don't care about the party, don't worry I will take care of it you just go to sleep and rest" with that he left leaving me so surprised I mean when did I become his number one priority I mean he could have just said it like that also or did he really mean it.

In the evening I woke up it was only half an hour to the party and my pain was almost gone so I decided to get ready for the party.

After some time I came infront of the mirror and looked at my self and was wearing my earrings when Randhir entered the room.

Randhir's pov

As soon as I entered the room I saw sanyukta standing there looking so beautiful that I had no words.
