I wrote this around 8 months ago . This one is dedicated to someone who kept on fighting, someone who in the end never gave up.
You don't know your own worth,
Everything seemed to fall apart in your life.
You lost your path, your smile, those laughing eyes,
But you strive to survive.
Sometimes not for yourself but for those who care,
Who can see through the fake smile you wear.
You were tired, you were blind,
But you said, "I am fine."
Your battle scars were too deep,
You pretended to be brave but you did weep.
You fought, you fought with all your might,
You staggered, you fell when you lost your sight,
You lived but you felt dead inside.
I wish you had faith in yourself,
I wish you had known your worth.
Maybe life is a fray,
Don't let darkness drive you astray.
A quick escape is not the right way.
