Chapter 13- The photograph

I bolted away from Sun and Gladion after seeing what Sun did. I couldn't bare to be around them and the fact Gladion didn't pull away hurt. Gladion's chasing me, wanting to know what's wrong and why I bolted. I proud of my self for running this long and quickly due to the fact that just under a week ago I couldn't walk with out help from Lei and Rika. That's not important at the minute thou. I race onto the main road and head towards the nearest forestry area. I run in and start hiding behind trees trying to find an easy on to climb or a really tall tree.

Gladion p.o.v-----------

Damn he can run now. I didn't think he'd be this fast with the braces in a week. He started heading towards the forestry area. Crap! He'll run in there then hide. He's amazing at hiding in forests, which is  a problem for me at the moment. He disappeared from my view into the forest. I run faster before I lose him in the forest. Too late he's gone. I stand in the middle of a small clearing and start yelling. "Y/N WHERE ARE YOU?" "WHY'D YOU RUN OFF?" "ANSWER ME!" Every question was answered with silence except a occasional rustle of leaves. I was getting pissed off at being ignored and I know he can hear me. His hearing is exceptional thou that's expected considering his condition. Angered I shout, "FINE! DON'T COME OUT AND FACE ME! I JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW ME AND SUN ARE DATING! COME FIND ME WHEN YOU GROW A PAIR AND STOP BEING A COWARD!". Thud.

He did not just call me a coward. wait... yea he just did. I jump down from the tree I had been sat in listening to him shout at me. As my legs were still not fully strengthened I land on my hands and handspring onto my feet. Doing so had blown my hat/cap off and cause a piece of clothing that looked just like a real Midday Lycanroc's tail to be exposed. I pick my hat/cap off the floor and put it back on covering my exposed ears. It was clear I was REALLY pissed off and also turning night so my eyes started tingling. I glare at Gladion and small rocks nearby start floating above the ground. I coldly state, "I am not a coward. I'm glad your dating a asshole seen as your acting like one. I'll see you later" I turn around and start walking away when "ATLEAST I CAN WALK WITHOUT SUPPORT!" sounds out from Gladion. "also HOW DARE YOU CALL SUN AN ASSHOLE!!". The forest goes creepily quiet and I stop walking. My eyes widening at what he just said about my struggle with walking. "Good bye Gladion. I'll see soon. Hope you enjoy your time with Sun.", are my words as I jump into the nearest tree making me way to the tree I was sat in when he walked into the clearing. I sit down and watch as Gladion storms out the small clearing, obviously upset. I can hear Sun and Gladion talking just outside the forest area however I can't be bothered to listen to what they're saying. Clear liquid blurs my eyes, it then starts trickling down my face while quickly replacing at my eyes. Quickly, the clear liquid is running down my face in small river and I start quietly sobbing upset at what Gladion had said. Hopefully he didn't mean it. After about 5-10 minutes I calm down and pull my guitar off my back and start singing while thinking about what Gladion said. The most upsetting part is that is mostly true. I start slowly strumming my guitar.

I stop singing and put my guitar away and back onto my back. I pull my hat/cap off my head and open the secret pocket I sewed into the inside to keep my most special possession near me all the time. It is a photograph of me and Gladion a few days after he got his ear piercings three years ago about a month before we 'left'. We had been allowed to go into town by ourselves for once. For two 12 year olds this was a blessing considering that we were under constant supervision all the time 'for our safety'. We had gone into a clothing store; both of us wanting new hoodies. I had found some hoodies that had cat ears on top of the hood and bought one for Gladion in black. I knew what size to buy because we had grown up together for six years from age six. We met outside the shop having gone in different directions as soon as we entered. We both turned to each other at the same time. "Here. I bought you this cause I know you like stuff like this." Gladion said to me gruffly due to embarrassment while handing me a
f/c hoodie...that had cat ears on the hood. I had started laughing startling Gladion. "I got you something too" I said still laughing. I handed the black 'cat' hoodie to him. He just stared at it. " Try it on.", I calmly told him while slipping the f/c 'cat' hoodie on over my t-shirt. He slipped the hoodie on over his head. Both of the hoodies fitted perfectly and after I took my hat/cap off, we pulled the hoods up seeing how the other would look with cat ears. We laughed then spent the next few hours walking around town together with our hoods up while people gave us weird looks. We didn't care and just glared at them. It was sunset when we had finally gotten back to where we were supposed to meet are 'guardians'. I had a camera with me and politely asked one of the more friendly 'guardians' if they would take a photo off me and Gladion in the 'cat' hoodies. They said yes and we stood still while they took the photo. Gladion was pulling a weird face and blushing from embarrassment. When they were done they handed me my camera back and we all headed home. Once we and gotten there I went and printed the photo off. Gladion didn't know that I had printed the photo off and kept it as a memento.

(that is a what the photo looks like. Just change the boys appearance to your own but the hair is what kinda style you have(there's a reason). I coloured it in so it didn't look out of place. The hoodie is also f/c. This image belongs to me because I drew it and coloured it in. DO NOT REPOST it without permission because I spent about 1 hour & a half on it )

I carefully put the photo back and put my hat back on. The clear liquid had stopped and I felt exhaustion pass through me. I close my eyes and instantly fall asleep, in a tree , in the middle of a forest. The only odd thing was that I was sleeping during the night. That normally never happens.

 26/08/17- I was up writing this at 2am. I am a sad person. I also needed sleep. Sorry if it sucked towards the end. I was that tiered my eyes kept going blurry making it hard to type.
