Sat on a ledge on Mount Lanakila, a male trainer and his lycanrocs are huddled together watching Malie Gardens light up with a beautiful glow. In the centre of the gardens, A huge pine tree is dressed in red, blue & silver shiny metallic ribbon and dangling crystal baubles. The work on the pokemon League had stopped for the time being so no-one was there to tell the young male that he was trespassing. Well, even if there were people was there they wouldn't be able to get him seen as he was sat on a high ledge not accessible to anyone but him thanks to his faithful lycanrocs. Listening to the loud music booming from the gardens this particular male hadn't been seen by anyone for about a month or so which was causing a certain blonde male to worry...especially since how high tensions between them had increased when they last encountered each other.

Having spent the last month or so going around training and levelling up my pokemon it was now Christmas time. I was wearing my hoodie with the hood up, a f/c beanie, a long thick pair of jeans, my winter boots & a f/c pair of woollen fingerless gloves. My leg braces were in my bag seen as I was sat down & staying here for the night. The lump on my head had grow again and started to take form; not long till its fully formed and the troubles apon us. I wonder how Gladion is doing... hopefully he's enjoying Xmas for the first time in the last few years. Looking down, my braided f/c leather bracelet shone in the moonlight. I remember getting this as an xmas present. I start remembering the day I got it.
Gladion p.o.v ------
Stood in Malie Gardens watching the tree lights twinkle and shine, I glance down at my wrist where a braided black & red leather bracelet lay. It meant a lot to me seen as it was the last present I got before everything went to hell. Hau & Sun had forced me to come and watch the Christmas lights and listen to the booming music. Tch I hate christmas. Everyone's so happy and joyful and cheerful. It's nauseating. Suddenly Sun appeared next to Me, asking "what's that on your wrist? A present from someone? It looks like cheap crap. Why are you wearing it?" His rude and cruel attitude towards my bracelet really pissed me off.
Sun p.o.v -----
Asking Gladion about the leather bracelet on his wrist was not the best idea. Gladion erupted in a flurry of anger at how I had described it, " Its a bracelet that means alit to me and it's an old Xmas present of a old friend! It is not cheap and worthless!" Gezz I only asked because it looks like something 'Shadow' would give him. That boy still needs to pay. Calmly, I tell Gladion, "ok ok. I was just stating my opinion".

"Well DON'T! Tch this is stupid " with that I storm off further into the Gardens looking for a quiet spot to sit and think. Y/n your still wrong about Sun using me but I do hate fighting with you. Finding a quiet spot to sit behind an oak tree, I sit and remember getting this bracelet.
It was the Christmas before Y/n got his disability and condition. We had all woken up early on Christmas day and dashed downstairs to open presents. Y/n & Lillie had raced down a head of me. Y/n tripped over his foot while on the second to last step and went rolly-pollying into the tree. Everyone had burst into laughter, even mother had laughed. Y/n ended up sat in the tree, thankfully unharmed, while everyone else opened the presents as a joke for him being daft enough to run downstairs. After me and Lillie had separated the boy from tree, y/n opened his presents. He received all sorts, from socks to the necklace he ways wears now. As tradition me,Y/n & Lillie opened our last present simultaneously. Turns out mine and Y/n last present was from each other. With great excitement we opened them to find braided leather bracelets inside. The very same one I was currently wearing. It was amazing.

20 seconds till the new year began seen as tonight was new years eve. Despite no presents, Christmas had been fun. I prepared to shout the count down to the new year with all my Pokemon so we could celebrate it together.

I yell aloud: "10...... 9...... 8...... 7...... 6...... 5...... 4..... 3...... 2...... 1...... HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
