Climbing down the mountain sat on Lei was not the most enjoyable experience. I kept having the feeling that I was going to go tumbling head first down the mountain despite having full trust in Lei. I had decided to continue with the trials however, half way down the mountain I realised that the next trial was a ghost type trial. The only dark type Pokemon I had was Blaze who evolved into a Incineroar while Lei & Rika know one or two dark type moves. Suddenly a distinctive cry sounded and a thud later the creature that cried out was stood a few meters away from me. It was an Absol and I quickly bowed to show it respect because it wouldn't be here if there wasn't trouble brewing. The Absol surprisingly bowed back and I tossed a pokeball at it hoping to catch it without hurting it. After my pokedex telling me the Absol was a male, I decided to name him Daisuke which means great help in Japaneseas to honour the fact he tries to protect people. I put Daisuke's pokeball into my bag and Lei continued to take me down the mountain.
Sun p.o.v-----
Over the last few months, I had been training my Pokemon like crazy making sure they we're strong enough. I was on my way to the abandoned Thirfty Megamart to complete Acerola's trial. Before hand I decided to go into the poke center in Tapu village. While passing by Mt Lanakila, I saw a figure on a Lycanroc moving swiftly down the mountain. 'Shadow'. I really wonder what his name really is... Shadow is just too obscure to be an actual name. I hope he's realised that Ilima is mine. Gladion just happens to be the perfect pawn. After finishing in the poke center I head to Acerola's trail and attempt to complete it.
Y/n p.o.v------
Once safely arriving at the ground, I feed Lei a few pokebeans and make a fuss over him for carrying me down. I return him to his poke ball and snack on a few pokebeans & berries while I head to Tapu Village for one last performance before the chaos. I made the mistake of walking through a large area of grass and a Pokemon jumped at me so I decided to take the opportunity to level Daisuke up. 10 minutes later he had risen 4 levels now at level 35 and learned more dark type attack moves. Already changed into my normal clothes, I set up between the Pokemon center and Acerola's trail entrance. As I started playing people came past and started videoing me playing and sharing it on the radio.
Gladion p.o.v.----
While stood in the poke center waiting for my team to be healed, someone turned on a radio and a very familiar voice echos around the room.

The words hit me and I realise what he means. Oh no... I better keep my guard up and look out for anything suspicious.
