Sun p.o.v---

"I'm not being foolish or selfish..." Lillie speaks quietly until her voice becomes more pleading. more desperate. "I'm asking you to listen, Mother! Don't sacrifice Cosmog for that beast's sake!" Her blonde locks swayed. "If you open the Ultra Wormhole, Cosmog will... Cosmog will die!"

I stand there silently. I think if I speak I'd drown Lillie out. She needs to toughen herself up anyway.

Lusamine stalked towards the mirror without a care and coldly spoke down to Lillie. No remorse. "You're right... it probably will die. Because I'm going to force it to use its power whether it wants to or not!" There's a soft click as one of the decorative panels on the mirror's edge slides away to reveal a switch. Its pushed. The mirror changes; seeming to fade from existence to reveal a teleportation disc which Lusamine strolls onto. Her hair swaying violently with the movement. "Maybe if you really had been a daughter to me, I would have listened to you..." She turns around, a devilish grin ruining her angelic appearance. " Too bad." Her voice trickles out like honeyed acid as she disappears in a flash of soft light.

Lillie turns to me and stumbles closer. Tears pool in her lime eyes, half in desperation and half in relief that she's isn't alone. It really seems as if she expected no-one to come for her. With a quivering voice she begins to talk,
"Sun... I really am happy that you came after me... but...but...I have to be selfish again... I have to ask you one more time... Please...Help me! Help Nebby! We have to save Nebby!"
She becomes more animated, more desperate as she talks that I give her the briefest hug and walk to the mirror-turned-teleportation pad and disappear after Lusamine.

I'm blinded for a moment. Everything is black until abruptly every surface reflects light. Crisp, clean, cold metal panelling. The sea gurgles below surround the small island that houses the teleportation pad on all side except one; where a thin bridge connects back to the main body of Aether island. Lusamine waits not far ahead appearing to be staring off into space at a blank wall. She kicks at something I can't see and there's the hiss off something sliding along the floor. I step off the pad, cautiously heading towards where Lusamine looms. Lillie appears behind me and takes a step forward nearly crashing in to my back but regains her balance a moment later. I take another step forward as Lillie speaks, eyeing Lusamine the entire time to ensure she doesn't try something.

"Wh-what is this place...?" Lillie softly asks, sounding more horrified by the second. Looking closer there's a black compact box with a handle settled by Lusamine's feet. It looks ominous. Dark and dangerous. Lusamine spins on her heels at the  of  Lillie's voice. The devilish smirk still toying on her lips as her voice oozes out,
"Hurry. This way." her arms are folded, almost in a relaxed way. Something feels wrong, she's too calm. The only way is forward, towards the monster in human form. Lillie trails a little behind me and I don't blame her. This monstrous woman is her mother , I thought my mum could be scary when she's mad but this.... this is a whole different level of scary. Its cold, calculated hidden behind fake smiles and power.

Several ice-y glass containers hold different pokemon. All frozen in time. Unable to move, unable to escape. Unable to live. They all look healthy and Lusamine gaze around proudly at these containers. Something shifts off in the corner, isolated but not contained within a glass case. Even without the frosty glass in the way, I can't distinguish what it is.

"What do you think? It's my private collection." So that's what the freaky cubes and rectangles entrapping pokemon in movement are. " My precious babies... They will all be preserved for eternity here." I involuntarily shiver for a moment. Thank the Tapu's she didn't try to put Lillie in there. Her expression changes; softening and becoming more thoughtful. Her words remain honeyed but take on a false pitiful tone. " But my poor beast... What confusion, what rage must it feel, arriving in this strange world? It would not be right to confine its feelings in such a small case as these ones... It will need to express itself. I think I will let it express all its fury upon the Alola region as it will!" She grins crookedly.
