"C-come on Sadie. I can't ask him to the dance." Connie said.
"Just try." Sadie said as she pushed Connie.
Connie started to walk but some one pushed her out of the way. "H-" "Move it." Malachite said.
"Think Malachite already asked him. And why would he want a nerd like me." Connie said.
.....Later..... (in class)
"What are you drawing?" Sadie asked.
"Oh... Nothing."😅 Connie said quickly.
Connie and Sadie sat by each other talking about homework or just reading a book. "Hmm. The most popular jock... dating me?" Connie asked quietly to herself but Sadie still heard.
"Hey. At least I thought it would work." Sadie said.
"I wish that could happen, actually I think that's too much to ask for." Connie said.
"He might have said no to Malachite and is looking for some one else." Sadie said.
"Yeah right." Connie said.
The "jock" walked into the class and all Connie could do was stare.
"Wow, he looks better and better." Connie said.
Connie raised her hand and was called on." May I use the restroom. Please.?" Connie was excused and ran out the room. When she got in the bathroom, she came across Jasper. "Look at what the catfish dragged in." Jasper said.
Connie tried to ignore her but then when she turned around, Jasper pulled her hair." Ow!" Connie yelled. "How about a one way ticket to toilet town." Jasper laughed.
-----Thirty minutes later
Jasper finally left Connie alone but Connie was in one of the bathroom stalls crying with her head in her hands. Connie cleaned off and got to class, but everyone was gone. She checked the time and saw that it was 2:50PM!!!
"Oh no!" Connie thought

"Umm Connie, what took you so long... *sniff sniff*... And why do you smell like that!?" Sadie asked.
"Let's just go home!" Connie said.
Connie ran home and took a shower. "Ugh, why are there always jerks in the world. Is it like something wrong? Can some one tell me what I did wrong. Why can't I just understand that everyone in the world isn't nice. Why am I just...
