Connie was running to school almost being late. "I need to get to school." she said to herself.
She ran into someone "Hey." he said.
"I'm... I'm... S-sorry." Connie said stumbling over her words (and feet.)
"Hey. Are you new. I've never seen you before, and I don't want to make the wrong first impression." The jock said.
"Oh... I'm C-connie." she said.
"Oh.. Well, I'm Steven. Can I show you around?" he asked.
"Thanks but I know my way around." Connie said.

Connie ran off to go to class. When she came in while walking to the back of the classroom, Jasper tripped her up. Everyone was laughing and Connie scattered to get her things. "Connie, what took you so long." Sadie whispered.
"I ran into the JOCK." Connie whispered back.
"Was he mean to you?" Sadie asked.
No. Actually, he was very nice. He thought I was a new student and asked to show me around." Connie said.
"What did you say?" Sadie asked.
"I told him I already know my way around." Connie said.
"WHY WOULD YOU PASS UP A CHANCE LIKE THAT!" Sadie whisper yelled.
"I... Have... No... Idea." Connie said.
Steven walked into the class and saw that there was an empty desk by Connie."Is this seat taken?" he asked.
"N-no. You can sit." Connie said.
Sadie passed Connie a note that said," You're sitting by the MOST POPULAR boy in school. Good thing you did pass up a chance like this."
"Hey." Connie whispered.
"Is there a conversation that I'd like to join." Steven said.
"Oh... We were just talking about home work."😅Connie said.
"Can I join?" Steven asked.
"Sure, if you know the answers."

"Hey. Earth-to-Connie. Are you there or even alive." Sadie said.
"Oh... I'm f-f-fine." Connie said.
"Right now is the best time to ask him to the dance." Sadie said.
"Hey! Why don't I ask him after school." Connie said.

"Umm. Steven, umm... Uh... W-would you.... You l-like.... T-to...um... You know what, I-I forgot what I was about to say. Ha ha." Connie said.
Connie was walking to Sadie, and saw that Sadie was very mad. But then Steven grabbed Connie's hand and said," Yes, I will go to the dance with you." Connie started to blush.
Connie started to run to Sadie screaming," HE SAID YES. HE SAID YES!!"
