"Are you sure he's not just doing this for a prank." Sadie said.

"How come you kept telling me to ask him but now you're saying that it might be a prank." Connie laughed

"Ha ha. Sorry." Sadie said.

Connie was looking for a dress to wear. "Hey Sadie, who are you going with?" Connie asked.

"Oh, I'm going with Lars actually. He's a nice person." Sadie said.

"Is this dress good for the dance?"Connie asked. (the picture up top)

"It looks great." Sadie said.

"Now lets go." Connie said.

"Hey, Connie!" Steven yelled

"I thought this might have been a prank." Connie said to Sadie

"Ok Connie. I was wrong. Now would you just go with him already." Sadie laughed.

Steven and Connie walked inside the school and Connie looked nervous.

"What's wrong?" Steven asked

"Nothing, It's just... This is my very first school dance, and.....
I don't know how to dance." Connie said.

"That's fine. I'll show you. Just follow me." Steven said.

"But I... I've never danced in front of anyone before." Connie said worrying about everyone staring at her.

They were at the dance and Steven said," Just take my hand."

Connie put her hand on Steven's and they were looking down at their feet. Then Connie looked up and Steven was looking at her. Then the spotlight was on them.

"Steven, people are staring. I can't do this, it's too much." Connie said.

"Why are you so scared?" Steven asked.

"Because I'm always shy and people might think I'm weird, ya know." Connie said.

It's ok, I'm weird sometimes." Steven said.

"Steven." Connie laughed.

Steven put his hands on Connie's hips and Connie put her hands on Steven's shoulders. They both started to blush and started dancing.

"So you do know how to dance."
Steven said.

"I-I didn't think I knew how dance. It's just, I haven't danced in a long time." Connie said.

She leaned into Steven and closed her eyes. "Steven, I've never felt this good." Connie said.

Steven wrapped his arms around Connie and the door came bursting open.

"STEVEN!" someone yelled.

Connie backed away a little and MALACHITE stepped forward.

"Steven what happened you were supposed to pick me up for the dance." Malachite said.

"O-of course I forgot- I mean didn't forget about you." Steven said.

"Hmm. Why are you so sweaty." Malachite asked.

"Um... I was just dancing. Ha ha."
Steven said.

"Who were you dancing with?" Malachite asked.

"Oh, no-no one." Steven said.

"Really? Then why is She here." Malachite said looking at Connie.

"What do you mean?" Steven asked.

"You know exactly what I mean. She's alone and no one would want to dance with her. Ever since you got here, she came to the dance and she never went to the dance before that because all she is, is trash." Malachite said.

Connie stud there and looked up at Steven and covered her mouth with tears in her eyes. Then she ran out of the school.

"Connie!" Steven yelled.
