"W-what do you want?" Connie asked.
"You know exactly what I want." Malachite said.
"W-what???" Connie asked.
"I WANT STEVEN BACK!!" Malachite yelled.
"We're not even-..." Connie started.
"You two have to be dating. I saw you kissing him." Malachite said.
"What... I... Didn't..." Connie stuttered trying to find words.
Then Jasper pushed her on the ground.
"Look, PUNK, if you don't want me to punch you-" Jasper started.
"Connie you forgot your... Connie..?" Steven said while running and yelling.
Steven stopped when he saw Connie laying on the ground and crying with her hands over her face.
"C-Connie are you...?" Steven asked.
"They hurt me." Connie whispered.
"WHO HURT YOU?" Steven asked
"Jasper and Malachite..." Connie whispered some more.
"Connie, let me see your face." Steven said.
Connie moved her hands from her face and looked the other direction from Steven. She ran her hand across the sand and there was a thick trail of blood. Steven covered his mouth and tears ran down his cheeks. He grabbed Connie's hand while she was still looking the other direction.
He saw that her hand didn't have a cut or anything.
"Connie, I want you to look at me. Please!" Steven begged.
Connie faced Steven and Steven was shocked at what he saw.
"C-connie... Y-your n-nose... I-it's b-bleeding." Steven said.
Connie looked away. Connie had a cut under her eye. She looked up to Steven and covered her mouth. She hated to see Steven sad. Connie put her head on Steven's leg. Steven put his hand on Connie's head and ran his fingers along her hair.
"C-Connie... I'm sorry. This is all my fault." Steven said.
"It's not your fault." Connie said.
"I-I didn't walk you home." Steven said.
Connie sat up and looked Steven in the eyes. Steven still had tears in his eyes but Steven started to blush when Connie's eyes sparkled. Then, Connie fell in his lap with her hair covering her face.
"C-CONNIE!" Steven shouted.
Steven lifted Connie's hair from her face and saw that she was quietly sleeping. He thought she looked so cute.
"I'll get you home." Steven whispered.
