Bangsie (JaDine Fantasy)

Chapter 7

James watched smilingly as Bangsie chatter to Mira on his phone.

She was at first reluctant to use the phone but when she heard Mira’s voice, she couldn’t keep her glee. She asked him then if Mira was inside the ‘flat thing.’ James laughed and said no, and to talk to Mira first and promised to explain the phone later.

James didn’t really understand, but it has become ordinary that Bangsie is alive. It just suddenly felt natural that Bangsie is there with him, talking to him, waiting for him for his return, and being his friend. Of course, at first, it was rather awkward and bizarre but because of Bangsie's personality, it was so easy to adjust to her and this reality. It was so weird that it isn't weird for him now that she's alive.

She is very friendly and very sweet. She always asked him how his day was and she listens to him whenever he has something up his mind. She's simple, too, and would easily be pleased with little things.

Once, he showed her his picture of Mira in his wallet and she was so thrilled, she cried. She said she just missed Mira so much, and so James gave her the picture. She was so happy she tried to hug his face. James laughed at that.

She was also very inquiring. She did not know much of things, so she always asks him. Like how smartphones work or if it were dolls inside the small box they call TV.

She's also fond of music. She loved his playlist and loved their group's songs more. She said that she was one of their fans. James had explained to her how he was an idol and how he has fans.

James was rouse from his musings when Bangsie called him.

“Mr. James, Mira said she has to go...” she said sadly, looking at the phone.

James smiled at her and patted her on her head.

“Don’t worry, we’ll call her again, okay?” he soothed and he was contented when Bangsie beamed at him.

It just felt so natural...

James was acting very weird. JC was worried and he shared sentiments with Sam and Bret. Josh and Ivan are starting to worry, too. James has begun locking himself up his own room. He's normal during rehearsals and performances but after work, he would come straight back to his room and wouldn’t leave there ‘til dinner or ‘til he is called.

“And he seems happy, these days.” Josh had said.

“Do you think he has a girlfriend?” Ivan had supposed.

But no... JC really couldn’t think of James having a girlfriend. He's famous for sure, and a lot of girls would willingly throw themselves at him. But with James' personality... He's a guy who's very focused on his career and his family. And how? When? Who? It was really weird thinking that. Well, it wasn't impossible but something didn't add up. Besides, he think he'd tell them if he did have a girlfriend... wouldn't he?

But what’s with him? JC couldn’t deny that he is acting weird and that he really seems happy these days.

“And secretive.” Bret had added, sulking a little.

JC is really worried.

Josh had said that he always see James with the doll.

That was weird since Sam said James was frightened of that doll.

Ivan had said that he always see James going to Jelly, with the doll.

What's with that?

Bret had said that sometimes he could hear James talking to someone inside his room.
