To be completely honest, I had no idea why you were excited in the beginning of the week, but I would have been lying if I told you I didn't like seeing you like that: smiling and positively glowing.
When I asked Rebecca, MacKenzie, and Rebelle what was happening, they explained to me that the sophomore fall formal was coming up and you were hoping someone special had their sights set on you.
I only nodded.
I knew I had my sights set on you, but you deserved so much better. You deserved to be treated like a queen. You deserved a prince charming that could give you the stars, the moon, and the sun.
