England was sobbing into his pillow. He wanted America back. He wanted his son back. But America was gone.

Canada was right.

After the Revolutionary he had changed towards his son. Every time he looked at Alfred he would see the little boy who left him.

He wished he hadn't team up with John.

What had he been thinking?

He had been living in the past, the Revolutionary was almost a full century ago. After it, Alfred had tried to repair their relationship but he was too stubborn and would bring him down.

He let that blind him into helping the evil side.

And it wasn't like he could use magic to bring his son back. Alfred's country was no longer his.

It was Confedrancy's.

He remembered when America begged him to ally with him, Alfred litterly got on his knees and begged him.

And yet he join the Confedrancy.

The side that was pro slavery.

And stood for evil.

He had basically joined in, in helping kill his son.

Maybe, just maybe if he had helped America. He would still be here today.
Today, his country and John's would sign an alliance. He was not looking forward to it.

England sobbed in his pillow harder.

France sighed as he looked at his bedroom door. England had been in there since the Civil war ended. He had only come out for the meeting and that's it.

He wanted to go comfort his boyfriend but was at the moment trying to comfort himself and some of his children who were there and had locked themselves in their rooms/old rooms.

He felt horrible, America had asked him for help in the Civil war too and he said no. He had changed towards his son after America couldn't help him with his Revolution and decided to stay neutral, he had called Alfred selfish. When he had been the selfish one. America wasn't even 20 years old yet, he was still a new nation. And yet he had been to selfish to remember it.

He had been living in the past and let it blind him into not helping his son. Even though he hadn't helped the Union or Confedrancy out, he had been leaning towards John.

Maybe, just maybe if he had helped America out...

Maybe he would still be alive today.

Prussia was just staring out the window.

His siblings and Hungary were looking at him worried.

He wondered if America could see him at the moment.

He sighed and tried to hold the tears back.

But couldn't.

Alfred had been like a little brother to him. He had helped him during his Revolution and immediately said yes when he asked for help during the Civil war.

Prussia wasn't bothering to wipe his tears away.

America was a tough kid who had a fighting spirit and would do anything for his people.

He had saw that spirit during the Revolutionary and saw it again during the Civil war.

They had lost the war because of what?
