Maria could barely keep in her smile as she and John walked into the house together.

The Declaration of the Union was in a folder in her bag so John wouldn't see it and it would be close to her.

All she had to do now was get Pennsylvania to sign it and then maybe later tonight or tomorrow night leave the house late at night so Pennsylvania's governor could sign it.

She knew her brothers and  cousins had most likely gotten to Canada and Mexico by now which meant that they would be helping slaves escape.

Tonight.

She needed to be alone with Pennsylvania to get her to sign it.

Maria slightly looked at John, who she could see was slightly watching her, he had been acting strangely since yesterday. She hoped he wasn't getting suspicious or anything.

That could- s jeopardize the plan.

"How was the meeting guys?" Michigan asked.

"It was alright, I guess," Maria shrugged, "The others disowned me."

Her younger siblings already knew about that part of the plan but had to act surprised since John was there, "What!?!"

"Well, they have no respect for him," She pointed at John, "And said I turned my back on family and just decided to disown me and yeah," She shrugged again.

"Well, we don't need them," Ohio said.

"Yeah," Maria agreed, "Right John?" She looked at Confederacy.

"Oh....... yeah, right," He nodded and started to head upstairs, "I'm gonna take a nap, I'll see you guys later."

Maria didn't really believe that but nodded anyway.

John walked upstairs and looked back to make sure no one followed him before walking into Maria's room.

"Uhh Mar?" Delaware asked, "What if he goes into your room?" He whispered.

The others nodded. They didn't like the sound of John walking upstairs alone.

"What if he's on to us?" Pennsylvania asked.

Maria looked at them, "Don't worry guys. He make be smart," She smirked and took The Declaration of the Union out and showed it to them, "But I'm smarter."

They all let out breaths of relief.

England walked to his door as he heard a knock on the door.

The Great British Empire looked like he was in horrible shape.

He had bags under his eyes and looked extremely tired and stressed.

The past few weeks hadn't been nice to him. He opened the door to see Prussia!?!

Prussia looked at England in concern, he looked horrible.

"What are you doing here Prussia?"

England asked, walking away from the door. Prussia followed, "I came to check on you."

"You didn't have to do that," England said as he sat at the table in the kitchen.

"I know, I wanted to," He looked around, "Where is everyone? Doesn't Franny live with you?"

England sighed, "He used too. They all left."

Prussia gave him a look, "What do you mean by that?"

"I h-helped John out during the war and soon they all started to hate me and blame me for Alfred's death."

Prussia's eyes widened, if wasn't England's fault that America was death! Yeah, he allied with John and all but come on now.

Even he knew that he didn't want his son dead.

Just look at him now.

"North and South America haven't made any contact with any of us. Spain hates me completely, France hates me somewhat. Half of my children went with Spain while the others went with France," He said with no emotion.

"What about Panama?" He asked, "She didn't come in with Spain or France. She looked very sic-"

"Sick," England said.

Prussia nodded.

He sighed and nodded, "Since Alfred's death....... I've been staying in my room. Panama was the only on of my children who stayed. I wasn't paying attention to her at all, she might have gotten sick when we were out while it was raining."

"Where is she?"

"After the meeting, that night..... Spain come over and took her."

Prussia shot up from his seat, "What!?!"

England just nodded, "I begged him not too. But he carried her out the door and took her to Spain with him."

"Did she want to go?"

England shrugged, "I don't really know, I think I heard her tell Spain to let her go and that she didn't want to go. But I don't know for sure," He looked down, "I deserve everything coming to me, everyone's gone, France broke up with me-"

"What!?!" Prussia said in shock.

He wasn't a parent, but he had four younger siblings and knew what it was like to lose one. Thankfully HRE was renamed Germany but he never wanted to go through that pain again.
England was going through a lot with the lose of his son and he knew that a breakup would only make it worst.

He loved his best friends but couldn't believe them right now.

He had to do something about his. He looked at England, "Come on Artie, let's go."

England looked up, "Where are we going?"

"I'll tell you later, but first I have to send a letter to someone."

Maria smiled as she watched Pennsylvania sign her full name on the document.

Her brothers would be helping slaves escape tonight.

They were almost there.

John couldn't find anything in Maria's room and walked out of it.

Maybe he was just being paranoid, right?

But he was still getting a bad feeling about Maria now.
