It was just beginning to rain when Edward pulled into my driveway. I sighed loudly when I noticed Jacob and Billy Black standing next to their car. Edward scowled, "Dispose of them and I'll come back later." I raised an eyebrow at him. The tension was thick in the air. From the look on Billy Black's face and how tightly Edward gripped the stirring wheel, you would think that they would have killed each other on sight. I reached for the door handle but Edward stopped me. "Wait," he said as he leaned his face towards mine a gave me a passionate but quick kiss. "Make sure you tell Charlie about me. I want to meet him when I come back," he said in a deep tone.

I like the demanding side of Edward. I know it sounds cliché but he's hot when he's mad. "Okay," I said breathlessly. Billy just about had smoke coming out of his ears when I got out of the car.

"Hello Jacob, Billy," I said evenly to them both as I walked up to the porch.

"Hey, Bella," Jacob said happily.

"Would you like to come in?" I asked innocently as I held the door open. They came into the house and I stood there awkwardly.

"So, uh, my dad will be gone for the rest of the day," I said.

"He's out fishing? Maybe I should go see him," Billy said with obvious double meaning.

"He went somewhere else to fish today. Don't know where," I countered.

"Jacob, can Bella and I talk for a moment," Billy stated. It didn't really sound like a question. Jacob nodded and turned towards the door. I shifted my weight to my other foot.

"Maybe this is none of my business, but I don't think that is a promising idea," he said.

"What might you be referring to?" I asked sarcastically.

"You shouldn't be dating a Cullen. It's dangerous," he warned.

"You shouldn't be telling me what to do. It's annoying," I copied in the same tone of voice.

"Do you know what they are capable of?" he asked. I rolled my eyes.

"I do. Which is why I'm wondering why you are being so bold. You know what they are capable of but, I've seen it," I stated.

"Maybe I should try a different approach. Break up with him."

I laughed. "Billy why don't you go tell your own son what do. Why do you care? He didn't even break the stupid as-.... little treaty," I said feeling my anger boil.

"I guess you will learn the hard way," he said.

"Get out," I stated opening the door. I pointed towards the outside. "Out is that way." Jacob stood on the porch with a confused look on his face as his dad wheeled himself out of the house. I waved goodbye to Jacob and shut the door with too much force. I shrugged and began to walk up to my room when the phone in the kitchen rang loudly. I sighed as I went to pick is.
