you were walking in the direction of your new school and you stopped in your tracks right in front of the entrance, letting out a sigh as well, "i swear this week will be hell, i literally have no friends."

you mustered up the courage and continued to walk towards the school and to the classroom. you managed to find your classroom and you quickly placed your bag down and occupied a seat that didn't seem taken since there were no books under the table.

just then, two boys came running to you.

"hi, i'm woojin and this is haknyeon and we need you to do something for us,"

'wow, so much for first impressions right?' you thought.

"um, yeh?" you signaled to them to continue.

"we have this friend named jinyoung and he hasn't been the happiest ever since he broke up with his ex and we thought we should get someone to cheer him up because we can't although we're his closest friends, and maybe someone new would be able to because he wouldn't be able to reject, so will you give it a shot?" woojin spat as quickly as he could, feeling a bit embarrassed.

you raised an eyebrow at them, "what makes you think i can? i'm new here, literally a nobody, i have no power to do that. i want to focus on my studies, i can't go around cheering someone i don't even know up, find someone else, sorry."

you took out your earpiece from your pocket and plugged it in to block out whatever they had to say.

"wow, for a new student, you're quite rude," you could hear haknyeon say before he walked away but you chose to ignore it.
