the next day, you didn't see jinyoung in school so you went up to woojin to ask him, "where's jinyoung? have you seen him?"

"he's not in school today, he's not feeling well," and you were determined to go to his house after school to check up on him and apologize again for whatever happened.

despite the countless number of times the teachers have called you out for not paying attention, you were excited yet a bit nervous to go to jinyoung's house.

once the bell rang, you immediately dashed over to his house. once you reached, you stood in front of the door and hesitated for a while before finally gathering up the courage to knock on the door.

after about 2 minutes, you could hear the shuffling of footsteps and the door swung open and you were greeted by jinyoung who was grabbing his head due to the bad headache he had.

"what?" he said, coldly.

"i wanted to see whether you were okay," you said, full of concern.

"i am, you can go now, i'm fine,"

"can i at least stay for a while to make sure you're okay?"

"i don't see a need to," he said and almost shut the door in front of you but you stopped it from shutting.

"it's an apology,"

"you don't owe me one,"

"i do, so please let me take care of you just for the day," he stood there and scratched his head before stepping aside and opening the door wider for you to walk in.

"do you want to eat anything?"

"no," he said and walked to his room. his living room was not that messy but the moment you walked into the kitchen, you were shocked to see dirty plates piled up in the sink and empty pots and pans left on the stove.

"since it's an apology, i should clean it up, shouldn't i?" and so you started to clean up the kitchen while jinyoung was doing who knows what.

you could hear him groan as you were wiping the last plate before placing it nicely.

"what's wrong?" he looked at you.

"no painkillers,"

"i'll go get some,"

he saw you grab your wallet and phone from the now-clean table. he saw you put on your shoes and he passed you a heat pack, "it's cold, be careful."

you smiled at how warm-hearted he actually was but tried to hide the smile because you didn't want him to know you were enjoying it.

and with that, you stepped out of his place to grab him painkillers and some snacks since you were on the way.
