It's been about a week since I last talked to Tyler, my boyfriend. Since that night, he dropped me off at George's house, Tyler has been ignoring me like a plague. Tyler has been ignoring my text messages, calls, facetimes, and he avoids me at school. He was my ride home from school, but Daisy has been taking his place and although it's nice of her, it's awkward when sometimes she doesn't drive herself to school and I must ride in the car with her and her boyfriend, Isaiah.
"Tyler still hasn't talked to you?" Daisy asked as we walked back into the locker rooms to change after practice.
"No," I sighed. "If he's breaking up with me, I wish he would just tell me instead of ignoring me."
"Kaylie, he's not breaking up with you." Daisy reassured but I shook my head.
"Then why is he ignoring me?" I asked, defeated. "I asked Hayden to talk to him today, but I haven't seen him all day so I have to go find him."
"I'll go with you." Daisy said with a hand on my shoulder. "Isaiah won't be with us, so it'll just be us two."
I smiled a little at the thought. It'll be nice to talk to Daisy just the two of us, face to face, alone. "Great." I smiled widely.
After we changed, we walked outside to the parking lot where Daisy's car was the only one left except for Hayden's as well. He was leaning against his BMW with his arms crossed and jaw locked.
"Well at least you don't have to look for him." Daisy said and I nodded.
"But he looks pissed." I added.
Once we stood in front of Hayden, I saw that his knuckles were red and his face had read, angry.
"Hayden, what happened to you!" I exclaimed with concern. "Why are your knuckles like that?" I asked and grabbed to look at them but he pulled away.
"Oh, you know, just had to give a guy an ass whopping." Hayden huffed and I looked at him confused.
"What did Tyler do?" Daisy asked nervously.
"What, Daisy? Why would you think he's talking about Tyler?"
"Kaylie, just stand there for a moment and think." Daisy said closing her eyes and took a deep breath.
I was confused, as usual at my friend's thinking. Why would Hayden be talking about Tyler? I mean, yeah, I had Hayden talk to Tyler and ask him what's up.
"Please tell me she has it wrong." I chuckled but Hayden didn't and he clenched his jaw tighter, if possible.
"I wish I could, Kaylie." He said and my heart dropped. I felt the world stop.
"What, happened?" I asked slowly.
"I caught the fucker with some blonde." Hayden said. "They were hiding in his favorite spot he whores around at and caught him. I caught him and lost it. I beat the complete shit out of him before a teacher stopped me."
"Is that why I hadn't seen you all day?" I asked. "You got suspended."
"Yeah, and according to the principal I better be lucky he didn't expel me and I get to graduate." Hayden scoffed. "I used to bully kids all the time for no reason, and the first time I beat a shit head for a complete reason I get suspended. This school is so backwards."
"What was he doing with the blonde." I asked needing details. My heart wanted to believe that Tyler was just talking to the girl and Hayden just reacted but my mind knew it wasn't true. I've heard of that spot. The spot is behind the gymnasium because hardly any teachers go back there. The blonde must've ran away and got a teacher to tell on Hayden.
