HYUNRA POV

"Thank you so much for supporting me!" I spoke into the microphone, my voice echoing throughout the noising room.

The cheers were really loud and they only died down after about 10 minutes.

The lights dimmed after the audiences slowly exited the room and I exited the stage too.

As I was walking back to my dressing room, there were staffs and other performers congratulating me for my 7th win.

I bowed slightly an politely smiled whenever they congratulated me.

I kept my small smile until I entered my dressing room and I subconsciously sighed, wiping my smile away from my face.

Although I really appreciate all my fans and the support but  pulling my muscles on my face and trying to have a good impression everyday was tiring.

It's been almost 1 year since I've debuted but it's still a bit hard to get use to all the fame and attention I'm getting.

Honestly, a small part of me misses my old life where I was laid-back and had not much to worry about.

And when he was still around.

My mind added that last point and I pursed my lips quickly then loosen it again, shaking off that thought.

You don't have time and energy to think about that now. I scolded myself.

"Hyunra." There was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I shouted.

"Hey, good job on the stage. We need to head to your next destination in 5 minutes time, your fansign is starting soon." My manager, Ms Lee entered the room and informed me.

"Alright, I'll quickly change." I replied to her.

She went out of the room and two people entered the room after she exited.

It was my make-up artist and my stylist. One of them was holding some clothes and the other had a huge black pouch in her hands.

"Let's be quick." I told them.

They nodded and one of them started to change my make up and hairstyle.

I sat still and let them do whatever they did to my hair and face.

That was done quickly and my make up was a lot less thicker and my hair was tied loosely to the side, leaving some stands of hair on the other side, but it didn't look too messy.

They then left me alone to change into the clothes they left of the hanger.

I stripped off my tight and warm outfit I used for performing and then changed into a more loose and relatively comfortable outfit.

It was a short-sleeved navy blue crop top with a netted singlet top underneath that covered my belly. It was matched with a milk blue skater skirt. The crop top had thick white stripes across it and my outfit was topped off with a pair of black chunky-heel leather boots.

The net singlet was kind of itchy against my skin but I dealt with it anyways, I didn't want to make a fuss out of something so small.

I then grabbed my sling purse containing my personal belongings and headed out of my dressing room.

"You ready?" Ms Lee asked.

I nodded at her and we made our way to the ground level. She led me to our car outside the building and I could hear the piercing screams of my fans.

I just smiled at them, trying to ignore the shriekd and quickened my pace to the car.

I finally entered the vehicle and their voices were finally drowned out when Ms Lee slammed the door shut. She then got into the car on the other side and sat beside me.

"Please start driving." She signalled the driver.

I saw her frown as she got herself comfortable on the smooth leather seat of the car.

"I still don't get how you are still able to smile at them and deal with the ear piercing screams." She sighed irritatedly.

I laughed as her stoic face finally crack.

Don't get her wrong, Ms Lee is a suoer nice person and she's obviously close to me, being my manager and being near me every single day.

After we were assigned to each other a short while after my debut, we got to know each other really well after finding out that she's only a few years older than me.

We treat each other like best friends and we only call each other by our names when there is absolutely no one else around.

I'm glad that she's by my side throughout my career, it gets lonely when there is no other people around you since I didn't debut as a group.

"Go, take a quick nap first, you've been really busy lately and I noticed you don't get much sleep nowadays, We'll fix your hair again later at that venue if your hair gets messed up." She told me and hurried me to take a rest.

I didn't need much persuading since I really was super exhausted and I rested my head against the window, falling asleep in no time.

It's also probably the last book since I think I'll like to end things in this book as I don't want the story to be dragged too long.

And please do read book 1 first if you haven't done so as a lot of things happened and you will be very confused if you don't know what went on in book 1 since I'm continuing this book after the first on.. 😁😁
