Chappie 7

HYUNRA POV

"What do mean? You? What are you talking about?" I asked impatiently.

"Jeonghan, I'm him." He looked me in the eye and said sincerely.

"That's not possible..." I didn't want to believe what he just said.

But then that would explain their lookalike-ness.

"I'll explain. I--" I cut him off.

"No!" I pulled my hands away from his forcefully and got off the couch.

I don't know if I'm happy or angry. How can he just suddenly pop up thinking that the wound in my heart is going to be healed?

"I know I might not be forgiven but please listen to me." He pleaded sincerely.

But I couldn't listen very well, I was still trying to process what just happened.

He's back. Shouldn't you be happy? Isn't that what you have wished for?

My knees grew weak and I fell to the ground, sobbing hysterically.

And I barely noticed that gu--Jeonghan, come towards me and pulled me into his arms.

I felt comforted in his embrace, but I was also very scared. This seems like a dream, something that feels real but will disappear after awhile, something thar isn't real.

I calmed down and my breathing got a little more even, I mumbled, "Is this real?"

There was a pause.

"Yes, it's real. I'm here."

"You won't disappear again. Right?" I asked doubtfully.

This time, there was a longer pause.

"No, I won't. I'll be here for you." He reassured me.

I wiggled out if his arms and tried to look strong despite my tear-stained face and my puffy red eyes.

"I'm not forgiving you so easily." I got up and told him that, then quickly stomping out of his place and into my own house.

I fell to the ground again the moment my door closed.

I felt sparks of happiness in me but in me, there were also feelings of betrayal and anger.

He promised me that he won't disappear from me and that he will return. Not in almost 2 years but 5 months.

Then he vanishes for almost 2 years and suddenly appear again, my heart can't handle all of this. All the agony, hurt, sorrow and...happiness.

I broke into a smile unexpectedly when I thought of the last word. I am happy, he's back, does that mean that we can get back together?

But I've got so many questions for him, why did he leave so suddenly? Why didn't he tell me anything? Why is he living alone here? Most importantly to me, does he still have feelings for me?

He must have found out that I'm Hyunra but he was still so cold to me.

Was it because he felt awkward? Or was it because he doesn't love me anymore? I hope it's because he doesn't know how to talk to me, I hope that he still thinks of me often.

I was still deep in my thoughts and that's when I realized that my phone was ringing and that there was a pounding on my door.

I quickly got uo and opened the door, at the same time trying to find my phone in my bag.

"Hyunra! Why didn't you answer the door and your phone? We are running a little late for your photo shoot!" Eunri's loud voice greeted me and the ringing of my phone stopped as she tapped on her phone.

She looked up to me and her eyes widen and round.

"What happened to you?!" She gasped and exclaimed loudly again.

The neighbors are going to complain. I sighed internally.

"Have you been crying? Who bullied you? I'll beat them up for you." She gritted her teeth and said defensively.

I smiled slightly and shook my head.

"It's fine, let's go. We're running late aren't we?" I stepped out of my house and closed the door, then grabbed her hands and walked to the car.

Eunri sighed and patted my back as I got into the car first.

I subconsciously stole a quick glance at Jeonghan's house before Eunri entered the car.

I then spotted Jeonghan looking at me too from his room. I gasped softly and quickly look away in embarrassment.

"You can drive now." Eunri told the driver and we were off.
