Just My Imagination

Twisted pronunciations of
Simplistic words in my head
Gobble up the meanings
Sneaking lies upon my bed
Pillow buzzing loudly
Started feeling all but comfy
Whispers hateful words of
Sinning, chanting that I should be dead
Sheets are constricting
Creeping up around my neck
Bellowing laughter of walls
Glowing eyes from evil dolls
Plastic warped contorting
Lips flickered to a smile
Screaming demons in the corner
Been lurking for a while
Tears stinging at my eyes
I just want to get some rest
Dancing forms of silhouettes
Play tricks above my head
Blanket slithers up around
Keeping me to the bed
Childish laughter from the closet
Giggling about my death

Twisted pronunciations of
Simplistic words in my head
Melting thoughts of kinds alike
Slipping out into the night
Behind leaving feelings
Of regret
The room's gotten to
My head
Distorting all emotion
Wishing I were dead
Snickering children, pillow humming, Sheets restricting
Blade in hand, blood flowing
It was just my imagination
Closing eyes, drifting mind
Should've got some medication
