"Lazuli! Hey! Lazuli! I know you're up there!" Peridot shouted up at the water tower, Lapis once again ignores her. Why does she always ignore me? The green gem thought, I apologized, I gave her my stuff, what more does she want from me? "She won't even care..." Peridot whispered to herself before calling up to Lapis once again. "I'm going on a mission with the gems today!" She looked up hopeful that Lapis would notice, when she didn't Peridot continued. "Steven is staying over while I'm gone!" Lapis looked at Peridot before calling down "Go away so Steven can get here!" Lapis then laid back down on the roof of the water tower. Peridot could feel her eyes begin to sting but she didn't understand why. "Ok, bye! I'll be back later!" Lapis groaned and yelled at Peridot to go away, Peridot obediently walked away to join the gems "bye..." she whispered even though she knew that Lapis couldn't hear her.
