"Peridot!" Lapis called, she was currently somewhere in the middle of the forest looked for the small green gem. "Where are you Peridot?" Peridot started at Lapis from a branch right above her, Peridot could feel herself slipping and tightened her grip on the branch. Lapis looked up at Peridot "what are you doing?" Lapis got Peridot out of the tree and hugs her "I was trying to get away... What are you doing?"
"Hugging you" Peridot rolled her eyes at the response and looked at the ground. "Aww someone's grumpy!" Lapis cooed Peridot ignored her and crossed her arms. Lapis looked around the forest trying to find the barn "um... Peridot..." "Yes Lazuli?" "Were lost." Peridot managed to get out of Lapis' arms and started running with Lapis close behind. "STEVEN!!!!" Peridot called, she waited for a response but got none, she was used to this by Lapis but it still hurt her. Lapis hugged Peridot and flew up with her, Peridot freaked out and tried to get away, she looked close to crying and screaming. "Peridot, what's wrong?" Peridot didn't answer but instead grabbed onto Lapis tightly, she was shaking slightly. "Too high?" Peridot responded with a small nod and tightened her grip on Lapis. Lapis landed and set Peridot down who ran over to a tree and hid inside it.
Lapis flew up again and looked around, she saw the barn and landed. "Peridot I found home!" Peridot came out and looked at Lapis, she had tears in her eyes. Lapis walked over and hugged Peridot, she then lightly grabbed Peridot's hand and walked to the barn with her.
When they got there Peridot hugged Lapis and looked at her, she smiled and ran inside leaving Lapis outside blushing.
