Wake up Peridot

Lapis was laying on the water tower just waiting for Peridot to come over and shout up her usual morning greeting but it never came. Lapis looked at the barn and realized how boring and quiet it was without Peridot, she sighed and flew down. The tall gem sat in front of Peridot's gem "hey, Peridot..." no answer "wake up" Lapis lightly poked Peridot's gem, still no answer. Lapis started to get mad and realized that she'd been doing this same thing to Peridot, she started to laugh and cry. "I'm sorry Peridot..." no answer "are you doing this on purpose?" No answer, Lapis looked at the gem "can you even hear me?" No answer, Lapis got up and turned on Peridot's favorite show Camp Pining Hearts. "Look Peridot! Camp Pining Hearts is on!" Lapis waited for Peridot to reform but nothing happened. Lapis looked at the show, a few minutes later she was having a conversation with the gem as if Peridot has reformed and they were friends. Steven walked in and saw this, he was very confused so he just walked out. Lapis looked at the gem Nothing is working, come on Peridot, please come back... Lapis looked at the tv again and continued to watch the show with the gem. After about an hour of this Lapis looked at the gem "will music help you come back?" She looked at the gem expecting an answer, when she didn't get one she turned on the music and laid on the floor. What am I doing? Why do I even care if she comes back or not? Ugh what is happening to me? Lapis fell asleep with her thoughts still circling through her head and Peridot's gem close to her.
