Lapis has never really been fond of the small green gem, ever since she moved in with Peridot she's been on top of the water tower ignoring her. What if Peridot went missing? Would Lapis finally realize that she missed the small gem?

Peridot woke up in a large cage, she jumped up and tried to fit her head through the bars making a gurgle like noise.

She managed to get her beak like nose through the bars, she looked around and made the gurgling noise again. Lapis ran over "Peridot! You're awake!" Lapis tried to touch Peridot's face but the corrupted gem screeched and tried to get her beak out of the bars. "P-Peridot? It's me, Lapis... Do you remember me?" Amethyst walked over and pushed Peridot's beak through the bars almost getting bitten. "She's a corruption now, corruptions are stupid, and dumb, and they don't know anything! I'd move on if I were you, you don't want to get hurt." Lapis stared at Amethyst and looked like she wanted to slap her, she decided to ignore the purple gem and focus on Peridot who was at a back corner chewing on a bar to try to get out. "She's not dumb... and both stupid and dumb mean the same thing." Amethyst rolls her eyes, mutters a 'whatever' and walks away.
Lapis is looking at Peridot through the bars, Peridot is laying down making a strangled squawking sound. The small green...thing looked at Lapis bents the bars in front of her, Lapis flee above the opening as Peridot ran out in a clumsy way. The green corruption ran for the forest like it knows where it's going, Lapis followed so she didn't lose it. Peridot made it to a hill and stopped, about a year or two ago Lapis has found her here when she ran away. Peridot has small little pieces of her memory, she turned around and looked at Lapis who was crying and sitting on the ground "Peridot... please, I miss you..." The small corruption made a cooing noise and took a small step towards the water gem. Lapis looked at Peridot and slowly touched her beak, Peridot laid down and stared at Lapis, Lapis smiled a little and hugged Peridot. The small green corruption jumped and tried to get away before being poofed by Lapis "I'm sorry Peri." She whispered before bubbling her.
