Away-A Lapidot Story

Lair

Peridot ran inside the barn excitedly, she looked at Lapis and Aquamarine who look like they want to kill each other. "You two already seem to know each other!" Lapis looked at Peridot and smiled "yep... We were both under Blue Diamond's court" Peridot sits on the floor and listens to Lapis. Aquamarine walks over to Peridot and sits in her lap, "Would you like to tell the story Lapis?" Lapis glared at Aquamarine before clearing her throat and asking in the nicest way she possibly could for Aquamarine to meet her outside. The tiny water gem got up, and walked outside, her nice persona got quickly replaced with her normal one. "Hello Lapis Lazuli, why would you like to meet me out here? I have some business to get back to." Lapis tried as hard as she could to not grab Aquamarine and throw her into the woods, she instead grabbed the tiny gem with a water hand and threw her in the Smaller-Than-Average-Lake. "Stay away from Peridot." She growled before walking in the barn and hugging Peridot. Aquamarine pretended to cry and ran in the barn to Peridot. "Aquamarine! Are you ok? What happened?" Peridot hugged Aquamarine to try to get her to stop "crying" Aquamarine looked at Peridot "L-Lapis a-attacked me!" She buried her face in Peridot shirt and kept "crying." "Are you sure? Lazuli wouldn't purposely attack anyone unless she was defending herself." Aquamarine looked at Peridot "Are you saying that I attacked her?" "N-no! I-I'm just saying that if Lazuli did attack you then she probably had a good reason for it!" Aquamarine got up "Exactly how well do you know Lapis?" Peridot froze, she looked at Lapis then back at the tiny gem in front of her before getting up and walking outside. Peridot climbed up the water tower and hugged her knees, she looked at the stars and thought to herself, 'how well do I know Lapis?"
