I stopped at the end of the street, and breathed out. What had I done? It was very clear that I had pulled Jinx into my world. I grabbed the metal pole that held the stop sign, and then slammed my head against it. The pole bent, and I groaned, then proceeded to fix it.
“You’re just going to stand there, and do nothing about him being dragged into our world?”
“Shut up Carrie.”
“I’m just saying, if you’re not going to do anything then someone else will.”
A loud growl ripped from the base of my throat, and I grabbed Carrie’s throat, and slammed her down against the cement sidewalk. “LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE CARRIE!” I yelled, my hand tightening around her neck to a death grip.
“HAVEN’T YOU NOTICED!” She yelled back. “OTHER COVENS ARE TAKING NOTICE OF YOUR INTEREST IN JINX, AND ARE OUT TO GET HIM TO EFFECT YOUR MENTAL STATE!”
I stared down at Carrie, and then growled. “Nobody is getting Jinx.”
I pushed away from Carrie, and stared down at the vial around her neck containing Samantha’s blood. I then turned around, and walked away. I walked through the streets for awhile, and then made my way home before sunset. I stepped into the coven house, and then looked around to find that Felisha was passed out in Jordan’s lap. I stepped over to the couch, and tapped on Jordan’s shoulder.
“Hey, sun’s coming up you two better get to your coffin.”
Jordan blinked, and then looked over at me, “Ah yeah, sorry.”
I watched as he picked up Felisha, and carried her back to their room. After cleaning up some of the mess in the house, I went to my room myself. My room was pretty dark, with the long, heavy drapes pulled across the windows. I moved over to the small couch in the middle of the room, and collapsed onto it. I looked around my room, and sighed. I was still pretty mad at myself with what I had done that night. After about an hour of sitting on the couch contemplating my immortal life, I stood up, and moved over to my dark wood coffin in which I would sleep in for the day.

I woke sometime after the sun had set, and I got up quietly. The rest of the coven was still pretty much asleep. I walked out of my room, and softly shuffled down the hallway. I entered the kitchen and found myself a simple glass to have a quick glass of blood. After downing the blood, I walked to the front door wiping blood from the corners of my mouth. I pushed open the front door, when I heard a voice behind me.
“Where are you going?” Carrie asked.
I sighed. “I’m going out.”
“To what?” She asked.
“To clearly go watch Jinx.”
“Again?”
“Screw off Carrie.”
I walked out of the house, and made my way to the street Jinx lives on. I looked at the house, and found all the lights on. I frowned, and moved over to the window in the dining room. I peered into the window, and found that Jinx was sitting at the table with his head in his hands. His mother appeared to be in the kitchen dealing with dinner.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WERE ATTACKED!”
“Mom, I told you that I was ok. Someone saved me.”
“LIKE WHO?!”
“I’M NOT SAYING!”
“LIKE DAMN YOU ARE!”
“JINX LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!” Jinx’s grandfather yelled from the living room.
