It's been a little while, Chapmans gone.  You know what, I was panicking over Doggits death for nothing.  She's been back and better then ever, her fucked teeth are now a shiny artificial white.

She struts the place like she owns it, hell that dumb dike bitch who wanted to fight me before got her to chop her hair off.

I guess her religious doings changed after that surgery, in my opinion it just should've made it stronger.  You know, white bitches can't make up their mind anyways.

"Ah!", I heard Flacas cheerful scream from behind me.  I spun around and her and Maritza looked ecstatic about something.  "I'm in for a job fair!"

"The hell is that?", I asked.  Maritza rolled her eyes.

"Dummy it's a job fair.", she groaned.  "Flaca is going against some other bitches to compete for a nice job when she gets out of here!"

"I get a nice outfit and like everything.", she said flicking her long black hair behind her shoulders.

"Don't forget me when you famous, okay?", I joked and she shrugged.

"I might.", she teased.  "Gonna be too busy making that good cash, ayyy!", she said and her and Maritza started doing this stupid excited dance.

"I'm off to the library, I'll see you two later- assuming you don't want to come with me that is.", I asked.

"Gross.", Maritza said walking off immediately.

"Yeah, gross.", Flaca agreed following after her.  I rolled my eyes and chuckled. I walked into the library and that same small girl, Washington, was fixing books on the wall.

I took a seat at the table I always do and laid out some paper and a pen- apparently pencils aren't allowed for poisoning reasons. Nice.

Usually, I'd come here to read- what you do in a library- but after the first song I wrote I want to write another one. For myself of course, my own enjoyment.

I didn't get a chance to place my pen to the sheet before someone hit their hand on the table. "Inmate!", I looked up and saw Bennett standing their, furrowed eyebrows to look intimidating in front of the other inmates.

"What?", I asked blankly, I had nothing to hide so I wasn't worried a bit. He mentioned for me to follow him and I did, all the way to a dimly lit hallway.

I wasn't scared of him, I knew he wouldn't try to hurt me or hurt Dayanara either. I was just confused to what he wanted.

"Sorry about that.", he apologized scratching behind his ear. I shifted my weight, just wanting to get on with this before morning count. I didn't wake up this early for nothing.

"Can we hurry?", I asked trying not to sound as rude as it came off. "I was about to start something."

Bennett cleared him voice. "Alaniz, I wanted to ask about Daya.", he sighed. "Does she talk about me at all? Like I've noticed somethings up with her, she hardly talks to me and I figured you might know something?"

"Sorry, Pegleg Pete. I don't know shit.", I gave him a sad smile and started walking off before he could keep talking.

"Could you find out?", I heard him ask. I looked back, giving him a 'really' stare.

"Do I have to?", I whined. He smiled, figuring I would, then headed down the other hall holding his thumb up in the air.

I walked back and, instead of going where I wanted to, I had to go back to the block we stayed in.

I saw Dayanara asleep still and really didn't want to wake her, she hadn't been sleeping and who knows how long she's actually been asleep for.

I just headed back to my bunk and set my paper down on the desk and picked up my pen.

Honestly, why ever Maritza and Flaca were up so early was probably a good thing or they'd be hearing me groan and hear paper and paper wrinkling as I would wad it up and throw it away in the bin.

"Inmates, front and center. Outside your bunks now!", a loud voice called, Mendez. Oh joy, gotta love that pedophile fuck.

I had a few words listed along with a few different themes and quickly tucked it in my side of the drawer.

I stepped out then saw Flaca and Maritza walking over to stand outside their half of the bunk.  That's when I remembered- the cross from days ago still crushed between the wall and the bed.

No chance he'd miss it, what would happen to me?  I watched him enter our bunk, Flaca and Maritza messing about silently cracking jokes I couldn't hear.

I watched my items go flying around, as well as the girls things getting mixed up.  Mendez found it, I knew he did when everything went silent.

"Clear!", I heard him yell obnoxiously loud.  I quietly gasped, out of pure confusion mostly.  As he exited our bunk he looked at me through the corner of his eye, I hurried into my bunk at the alright and the cross was gone.

That fucking piece of shit.
