4: The Bet

All artists had finally performed, BTS being the very last one. As soon as their performance had ended, all idols flooded on to stage to hear this week's results.

Once again, BTS and Red Velvet were against eachother for #1 this week too.

All Yeri could think about was her and Jungkook's little bet they talked about earlier. She secretly wanted Jungkook to win so he could buy her food, although she didn't know how that deal would work out.

She also remembered that silly promise she made with herself to completely avoid that boy from now on. 'Haha, that didn't last long...'
But then she also remembered the fact that after these promotion periods, Yeri and Jungkook would return to only giving eachother empty bows whilst passing by eachother in end of year shows, like they had always done until today. 'We actually talked today...' she thought, whilst still waiting for the results.

To be honest, Yeri was incredibly social. She had many idol friends from a lot of different groups; Twice, Blackpink, Gfriend and more. She just wasn't a shy person and loved making new friends. She also had a select few male idol friends, a close one being N from Vixx, since they had been MC's together a while back, and the two still remained pretty close although she saw him only as an older brother she could learn from.

Not to mention within her company, SM, she was practically loved by all, sporting the cute nickname 'SM's princess'.

But with Jungkook, it was a little awkward earlier. Maybe because they were alone, outside toilets, and they'd never ever spoken to one another before.

She was totally surprised that he'd actually came forward and spoke to her first, since everyone, even idols, knew Jungkook was especially shy with girls.

Yeri felt like if it wasn't for her talkative charms, it would have fell super awkward and they'd have ignored eachother for sure this time.

Yeri was suddenly jerked out of her thoughts when she heard a loud applause. She looked around to see what was going on, to find out BTS, of course, were holding a trophy.

'Ha! Yes!' Yeri thought whilst BTS' encore stage began. Everyone started to leave but Yeri's eyes were searching for someone. Jungkook was found behind Namjoon, infront of the crowds that were leaving the stage.

'Oh, perfect' she thought, since she'd have to pass him to get off the stage anyway.

She found her members around her, bowing to many. Yeri proceeded to walk forward to Jungkook. A couple moments later, she was right near him, making sure other people in front were hiding the two from the audience.

She made her next words short: 'Looks like I won,' she said, smiling, and walked past him. She knew his eyes were watching her as she headed off stage.

'Woah...' Jungkook thought, his cheeks painted a slight pink as he returned to singing in front of his dear fans.
