We found the shop that Nelly had mentioned and bought two green tents that were fairly sizeable, as well as some other camping supplies that fit into a bag. The plan was to travel as far west as possible before it got too dark to set them up for the night. Megan's HQ was separate from my mother's institute, as mixing covert operations with a friendly and inviting atmosphere would have been counter-productive to the attitude Mum was trying to promote. As such, our destination was an awkward spot between Kanto and Johto. Beyond Victory Road but before Mt. Silver, we would find the HQ. Considering how far we had already travelled in the past few days, it wasn't all that far away.
As soon as we bought the tents, we made our way forward, passing through Celadon City. We took an elevated path westward, and by the time we stopped for the day, we were somewhere between Celadon City and the outskirts of Viridian Forest.

The area that we decided to set up camp at was pleasant enough. The view of the sky was clear, and there was soft grass all around. We were on elevated flat land, with the trees lining Viridian Forest off lower in the distance.
"This seems like a good spot." Nelly said, looking around. "I hope we haven't left it too late to set everything up."
"Will it take long?" Alicia asked.
"Not if we're efficient about it." I replied, putting the two bagged up tents on the ground. "How about I try and find some wood to burn?"
"And we'll pitch the tents." Nelly nodded.
"All right, it's settled." I smiled.
We placed our bags off to the side and brought our PokeBalls out.
"Hey, Trixie! Wanna help me pitch some tents?" Nelly asked her Vulpix.
"Aoo!" Trixie nodded happily.
"Minerva and I will try to help, too." Alicia said, looking at the packaging and instructions with pure confusion.
"Then you three are coming with me." I said to my Pokemon. Hawlucha, Taiga and Nectaria looked up at me. "Feeling up to it, Hawlucha?" I asked, wary of his health.
"Hacha!" He gave a thumbs-up, his muscles completely fine.
"That's good... See, Taiga? He's fine."
"Meow!" Taiga looked away, refusing to admit he had ever been worried in the first place.
"Anyway, we need to find some wood to burn to make a campfire." I explained to them.
"Swee..." Nectaria waddled closer.
"Don't worry, the fire won't hurt you. Taiga will set it up just right."
"Me-ow." Taiga sat and thumped his chest proudly.
"You all ready?"
The three of them nodded.
"All right. Taiga, Hawlucha, you two take the lead. We're heading for those trees over there first." I pointed.
The two of them took charge and walked off ahead.
"Be careful out there." Nelly said, slipping the first tent out of its bag.
"I will. You'll be able to do this?"
"I hope so." She laughed. "But I think we'll be all ri-"
"How does this – Agh!" Alicia lifted the tent above her head and it unfolded, falling on top of her.
"MRROW!" Minerva wailed.
"Uh... We'll get there eventually." Nelly giggled.
"All right. See you in a bit." I smiled.
