"But we're just having some fun," The man said without taking his eyes off me.
"I said get away from her!" It was Sam. It had to be.
"If I don't?" The man challenged him.
With a blink of an eye Sam had his arm on the man's shoulder. I've never seen anything like this before. I was afraid for Sam though. This man was larger than him and probably strong too. I didn't want anything bad to happen to him.
"Xavier! Get your hands off her!" Sam hissed.
With one swift move Sam was able to throw this man Xavier like a piece of trash crashing straight into a tree. What was going on? How did Sam do that? My heap was spinning.
"My, my...you've gotten stronger Samuel," Xavier said. He was on his feet, like nothing happened.
"I'm giving you a chance to run!" Sam responded with anger in his eyes.
"Do you really think you can take me and my friend Venom? Two against one Sam," Xavier replied smugly.
"Try me!" was all Sam said.
In front of me, three bodies are colliding in battle. Each collision felt like an earthquake.
I feared for Sam. I knew he's trying to save me.
I was expecting for the worst but Sam was stronger than the two. He got the one named Venom in a choke hold and in one move, decapitated him. I screamed at the sight of his headless body.
Xavier had fear in his eyes and without any second to waste, he ran and was gone.
Sam now had his eyes on me. It was only now that I realized how afraid I am of him.
"If I hadn't done that, you would have been dead!" He explained.
Tears fell down as he carried me back to their home. Who are these people? No, scratch that. What are they?!
"You are no longer allowed to leave this house Erin!" He ordered, but this time I argued.
"No! Just let me go! I don't want to be here!" I was hysterical.
"You don't get to make that decision! Going out there tonight just made you a target! Everyone who's after us is after you now as well!" He said without looking me straight in the eyes.
My mouth dropped open. I was in more danger than I could ever imagine.
"Maybe you should stay in my room," Sam was calmer now.
"No...i'm fine in Alex's room," Actually, i'm not fine at all in this house but just lied.
"You're ours now. So stop resisting," it was the last words he said before I closed the door in Alex's room.
"Had fun?" I spun around finding Alex with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Stay away from me!" I couldn't help myself from fearing them.
"Fine! You stay here in my room and I'll sleep on the couch downstairs. Might as well be on guard after the trouble you caused," Alex's face was blank.
A pang of hurt hit me. They're blaming me? But I just wanted to escape. I never wanted anything like this to happen!
