I felt like something inside me was awakened. I didn't feel like this when I first kissed Alex. What was different now? Did I love him? No. Not yet anyway. All I know for sure is that I care about him.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as I kissed him back. I wanted his touch. I wanted this moment to last. His hands traveled on my back, going lower and lower and he could sense that I was nervous.
"I'm sorry. I was going too fast," I was shocked. I'm liking this new, gentler Alex.
"No. I was just nervous," I replied. I knew I've been intimate with him before but this was different. This time I'm doing it because I want to, not because he ordered me. "I'm sorry for ruining it," I added.
"Don't worry Erin. It was perfect," I blushed at his words.
"We can continue if you want," What was I saying?!
Alex chuckled. "Maybe next time. I know you're tired, go ahead and rest," I didn't argue and so after changing, I collapsed on the bed and fell asleep.
I heard Alex and Sam talking as I was waking up. I didn't dare move so I could listen to their conversation. I know I was eavesdropping but if I don't do this, I'll be clueless once again.
"We have no choice Sam. Its the only place we can go without getting too much attention," Alex said in a wwhisper.
"No. I can't! You know that," Sam answered.
"We can't risk her getting in danger!" Alex was losing his patience.
"You really care about her," Sam said dryly.
"I know you do too! Is this why you don't want to go back? You're afraid of your feelings!" Alex barked at his brother.
"I don't care about her!"
What were they talking about? I wanted to know more but they stopped talking.
"Erin, I know you're awake," Alex whispered softly in my ear.
As I got up, Sam stared at me with worry in his eyes. What was happening? Are we leaving again?!
Alex cleared his throat. "So what now Sammy?"
"Fine. We'll do what you want!" Sam said as he stormed off.
Alex kissed my cheek. "Sorry if we woke you up,"
"Its alright. What's going on?" I asked.
"Just be ready okay? We're leaving after lunch,"
"Where are we going?" I was worried again.
"Do you really want to know?" He really didn't want to tell me.
"Yes. I really do Alex," I said, almost begging for information.
He let out a sigh before answering.
"The place we left behind,"
