My body froze as their eyes never left me. I tried to compose myself.
"If you're looking for your boring clothes, I threw them away," Alex said with an amused expression.
I didn't look directly at Sam but I knew their was a dark smile on his face. Just like his brother.
"This isn't funny! What am I supposed to wear?" I yelled.
"Check my cabinet. I bought some things for you. Take one from the black paper bag," Alex said.
I ran upstairs but I could still feel their eyes on me.
I opened Alex's cabinet and took out the black paper bag. I examined the contents. I couldn't believe him!
I took out the most descent one and put it on. I go downstairs to give Alex a piece of my mind.
"You really have a thing for nightdresses!" I yelled at him. I felt so brave.
"Only if you're the one wearing it," He responded.
"I ordered some food, kindly take some to Sam's room," He was serious. Quite a change from how he was earlier.
I knock cautiously since my first encounter with Sam wasn't great. I stood for 5 minutes waiting for him to open the door.
"Come in," I deep voice ordered.
"I tiptoed inside and put his food on the desk beside his bed. Where was Sam? I turned to leave but was shocked of what I was seeing. I stopped my mouth from dropping open. I found him dripping wet with just a towel. A smile grew on his face.
"I brought your food," I managed to say.
"Thanks," His tone wasn't angry but wasn't happy either.
"I'm going, don't worry," I said.
I was headed for the door but he was already there. How did he do that?
"Stay for a while," I knew it was an order I couldn't refuse.
He made me sit on his bed. I felt my body shaking. Was it because of fear or anticipation?
Sam didn't speak. He just stared at me intently. He started from my face going lower and lower, taking in every part of me. I felt so vulnerable. No one has looked at me like this before. But I knew he would be disappointed. I am not beautiful.
"Beautiful," He whispered so low that I almost didn't hear it.
I managed to raise an eyebrow at him but he didn't respond.
"You may go," Another order that cannot be ignored.
