"We're just trying to protect you Erin," Alex said without taking his eyes off the road.

"That's hard to believe," I was so irritated by them.

"Whatever! I don't have to explain to you," He barked.

"You don't explain ANYTHING to me!" I yelled at him. "Forget it. I know what you're really thinking anyway," I added.

"What are you talking about?" He asked obviously losing his patience for me.

"I'm a mistake! You regret the day I came into your lives right?! Don't even try to deny it! Sam told me!" I was crying again. Why did I care so much about what they thought of me?!

Alex laughed but there was no humor in it.

"He cares about you. We..we both do," Alex said in a voice so low I was lucky to even hear it.

"You don't care about anyone but yourselves!" I was surprised of what cam out of my mouth.

"You really think that?! If we didn't care, we wouldn't have bothered to leave! We can take care of ourselves but we thought of you!" There was so much anger in his voice.

I just kept my mouth shut, not knowing what to say. I repeated his words in my mind and an unexpected smile formed on my face.

The car stopped after driving for two and a half hours. Now I know where we are. A freakin' MOTEL.

Sam's car was behind us and I sighed in relief. We all got out of the car and I kept checking for any sign of danger.

Alex carried our stuff and headed towards the receptionist. She was probably in her early twenties, she was pretty and I could tell she had a great body. She was chewing her gum while she was checking out Alex. My blood started to boil. Wait! Why do I even care?! I shrugged the idea.

"What can I do for you hot stuff?" She asked in a seductive voice. I rolled my eyes.

Alex leaned on her desk with a smirk. I could puke right now.

"Well how bout you give us a room?" He said with his sexy voice.

I couldn't take their flirting any longer so I walked next to Alex and cleared my throat.

The receptionist gave me a glare for ruining their moment.

I glared back at her and we stayed like that until Sam spoke.

"Make that two rooms," Sam directed at the receptionist while staring at me.

The receptionist grinned and her eyes traveled along Sam's body. I could just slap her right now. Okay! Something's seriously wrong with me! Since when did I care about girls checking out Sam and Alex?!

"Good idea. She'd sleep better alone," The receptionist said with delight on her face.

"Actually, she's staying with me," I felt Alex's arm on my waist. I smirked at the the receptionist. She was clearly disappointed but not for long.

"I guess you'll be alone huh?" She spoke to Sam.

"I guess so," Was all Sam said.

"Just call me if you need anything. And I mean ANYTHING," She said biting her lip.

"I will," Sam said flatly.

She's such a slut!

Obviously Sam was more into girls like her. I felt Alex's arm tighten around my waist. I looked up and met his eyes, his beautiful eyes. I could just stay there with him forever.

I could just block the world with only Alex and I left until I spotted Sam giving us a death stare.

I was about to open my mouth to say something but he was already off to his room.
