both of you kept yelling at each other

I backed away but
he grabbed the collar of my shirt

refusing to tell

I pursed my lips
not allowing words to come out

and kicked me

my lip burst open and

charges passed through my body

pain shot up and down as I shook

when it stopped
I laid on the ground

the officer asked
